wasn’t there an option where it was like it was a long and daunting task or something what question was that

for the essay one

don’t remember all i know is I omitted 6 for CR. I know for sure I got 6 wrong. I don’t think I got more than 10 wrong. My gut feeling tells me 9 wrong and a score of 620 on CR. I will gladly take that score any day :)

@Mystic7 swag that’s good for me i thought it should be release of. also

Question: For the question that everyone was debating back and forth about potentially altruistic and frequently obvious - the question regarding free-riders - I got Unusually problematic. I thought it made perfect sense. In the article he was discussing how in group projects people will usually never free ride because it is counter intuitive to the primary goal. Wouldn’t that make Unusually problematic the right answer?

UNUSUAL : not usual : uncommon, rare.

Therefore, because this problem would not arise that often it would be Unusually problematic? Maybe I’m mistaken? Idk

Honestly… I thought it was without a doubt “frequently obvious” (not trying to start another debate). The other answers made no sense to me, and there was direct support for “frequently obvious” in the passage.

But I may be eating my words on the 28th… lol

@mystic7 haha I’m not trying to debate either. I was just surprised that after I went through the doc, and most of these pages that not a single person had mentioned it. So, I’m assuming that I am totally wrong. lol

@ZakGrove I put unusually problematic as well. I know people said that it was directly in the passage that it is “frequently obvious,” but I remember the passage saying that free riding is “not possible in most situations,” so that wouldn’t be something occurring frequently. That’s probably what threw me off. I’d still like to think the answer is “unusually problematic,” but I didn’t feel there was that much support for that choice either.

It’s not possible in situations because those who “free ride” are easily rooted out. Unusually problematic is wrong because of the word “unusally”.

My interpretation was that “frequently obvious” meant that when free riding does happen, it is usually obvious and noticeable, not necessarily that it happens all the time. But who knows with critical reading? Definitely the most subjective section. I can’t wait to be done with this stupid test

does anyone recall what i’m tallking about? the long task about the writers passage

I vaguely remember something about a daunting task, but I don’t know if that was an answer or an actual part of the passage.

it was an answer option

is that a diff question from the dash question

i just want to know if the task answer option was for a different question than the qualifying one

I want to know what the correct answer is for the question about the iranian kids. Did they follow the guys instructions happily or reacting to the vastness of the car?

So, will any of you guys be pulling an all-nighter on the 27th/28th for scores? I know a few of us did in June. I’m hoping my scores aren’t there on the 28th because of drastic increase, but I need it for deadlines. Agh

If i checked correctly based on everything that has been discussed, I got 6 wrong and 12 omit/wrong for the math. I’m 95% sure that’s accurate. Can anybody give me a range of a score?

@sat2014 580 but honestly it might be 600 bc i think there will be AT LEAST 20 pt curve

@sat2014 btw, you def crossed 1800 this time, you actually crushed it, i’m sure
