@icepierre can you explain the squirrel one? I’m still confused as to whether or not the issue was parallelism (as if could have also been an idiomatic expression) What do you think, and why?

@icepierre @maygotocollege guys its “Relief” not “Release”… and I put “that laughter provided” because it makes it sound like the laughter provided the stress and anxiety… it was a misplaced modifier cuz “that” can refer to both relief and the stress

@maygotocollege It was almost definitely no error. Species of squirrels anticipate when (blank) will happen and do something as if to predict (or something along those lines). I just cannot think of another way to put it. This was definitely hard to tell, But I contend that it was no error. There’s no grammatical rule to say it is wrong even if it is idiomatic.

@drodxex it was def release

@Mystic7

Me. I kind of want to switch it to December but i’m already neck deep. I can’t.Trying to hit 2100. Isn’t it too late to sign up for november?

Yeah, I’m 99% sure it was release, because I read that question like ten times. I was breezing through the writing section and that question stopped me in my tracks and I was like “uh oh…”

no, it was relief. I am 100% sure.

Just a general question. The CB website says the late registration deadline for the Nov. SAT is Oct. 28, which is the day when we get our scores back… so does that mean I can sign up for the Nov. one after I figure out how I did?

Does anyone know what the answer was to the math question about pool pumps? it was the hardest question on the exam. I was between the answers .8 and 1.2

1.2

what was the one writing question that talked about some guy receiving an award? was it he was or he had been?

@Rurouni
Math:Missed 2
CR:Missed 2 to 3
Writing: Missed 3 to 4 with 11 or 12 on essay
thanks and gl to everyone

Math: 740
CR: 3 wrong, 800
Writing: 4 wrong, 11, 750

That pump question seems so simple to solve when you think about it, but I got so freaked out when I saw it during the test lol

@sodone

Yea you can do that. But spaces may be filled up I think.

Do any of you guys recommend taking the sats in december as a senior? Why or why not?

@Annl233 depends on what you’re aiming for, but I say go for it. If you don’t have to, don’t though! Taking the sat sucks

@Annl233 I’m taking it in December too as a senior depending on my scores for this test. Should be fine

What’d you get for this question? And what were the choices
Question had to do with what did this mean (convey a regret, something about the scope of something, etc.)
“I think that deep down he believed that acknowledging the change of seasons would mean admitting we were in America to stay.”

I also am nearly 100% sure that it was relief, not release

Was the grammar question relief or or relief from? <a href=“relief from/of and relieve from/of | WordReference Forums”>relief from/of and relieve from/of | WordReference Forums;
