<p>The idea here is that only students in the Northeast get Columbus Day off. Here in the Midwest, that’s unheard of, so it’s just business as usual.</p>

<p>And the states on the east and west coasts are the SAT states.</p>
<p>If you’d rather take a vacation mid-semester than go to college, that’s your choice. There are other SAT test dates every year.</p>
