lol I was thankful for the gerrymandering q… a free point or me thanks to my middle school hist. teacher.

i guess gerrymandering cause it sounded pretty cool…lol

Gerrymandering did shock me! When I was looking through /Direct Hits/, I saw the word. I thought to myself, “This is an APUSH word… not an SAT word!” Lo and behold, /Direct Hits/ is god.

I actually saw a topic a few days ago on CC that said “My english teacher says to definitely study Gerrymandering for the upcoming PSAT” and I looked it up. thanks a lot CC!

lol though I think my luck overall sucked this time, I happened to look up gerrymandering the night before the test because I saw it in an article, so when I opened the text booklet, that was the first answer I circled.

Does anyone remember the entire sentence for the school of fish one? For some reason I don’t recall that question even existing. Was it an identifying errors/improving sentences? I bet I skipped it by accident LOL.

Thankfully it was easy enough to figure out by elimination.

does anyone remember the school of fish question, because i am very sure i found an obvious error in that one

haha reading CC before PSAT’s does help http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/582062-dh-rr-top-10-words.html this thread totally saved me.

I left that one blank… ![]()
I think all the 5 choices for that one I had never seen before :P

i dont think i can wait until december to get my score. it hasnt even been 24 hours and I’m anxious as hell

School of fish was A, but in the sense that it was no error. Cone shaped was also A in the sense of no error. For the Chavez one i thought that “many of them mexicans” was wrong but we’ll see when scores come back.

I hesitated for the mexicans one but still put no error. crosses fingers

Fish swim in schools for cooperation and blah blah something? I’m not sure.

I’m 99.9% sure the Mexicans one is no error.

Was the Cesar Chavez and Mexicans one the first on on the second page on Identifying Sentence Errors?

I’m pretty sure it was no error for the Chavez. I don’t know–we had a large debate earlier.

^^ Yes, I think so.

was the sentence a subject modifier or did it have a semicolon? Or neither? I cant remember exactly but I remember hesitating with my answer for that one.

*the fish question

Haha yeah I know.

Well my dad works for CB and he is getting me my results early; within the next couple weeks. Does anyone else want theirs?

:P Not reallyyy. xP

Cesar Chavez was the first sentence on the second page, and it was no error.
