@TestApprentice: That’s typical of CC users. A lot of us who post scores tend to flaunt our high scores. xD

Thats what I needed for the Ohio State Maximus Scholarship.
How is a 32 compared to a 2090 SAT?
Should I even apply to cornell with theses scores?

Science fail. I got a 34 on the science section last time I took the ACT, so hopefully they’ll superscore.

I’m done. I needed a 34 on the math section to get a better scholarship and got a 33 for the 4TH time.

Hey, TheInvincible! Did you do any prep between this test and last? You said your science score went way up. I was just wondering how.
Anybody else who raised their score quite a bit (particularly math and science) do anything special? Thanks!

No, I didn’t say my science score went “way” up. But I did say that my science score was higher than what I have expected it to be for this time, as I thought I missed few questions and the curve would be harsh. My score did go up by 2 points, however, from last September test. I don’t know why, but on the practice tests that I took, I got at least 32 or above for all of them (I even got 35~36s for many of them). I think the science sections of the real tests that I have taken (September and October) were much harder than the ones that I have used to practice. Also, the pressure that I got from the previous section (reading section) in the real test might have made me to do a little worse (because I suck at reading) on the science section. FYI, I tried almost every single ACT prep books out in the market, plus all the ACT booklets that I could get, mostly prior to my September test. But no, I didn’t practice much between the last test and this test (I only practiced like one more time). In my opinion, I think the science section could improve a lot if you practice many times (simply practicing ACT science sections many times without studying for any particular part).

I just went through the last few pages of this thread, and wow there’s a nice variety of scores (alongside the high number of people with top-tier scores :D)

Hooooooooray! I just took it for the first and only time. My schools won’t accept any lster than this date. I was desperately hoping for a 27…

Hmm, I wonder how fisawalab did. He hasn’t posted since scores have come out.

@Chicano - I imagine you just got 1 wrong, and since there are more than 54 questions in the math section, it didn’t affect your subscore.

I haven’t gotten mine back yet. I live in Georgia, but i think it was the testing location since most of my friends got there’s on Tuesday. i’m hoping I get mine tomorrow. :(

Screw the writing section. I guarantee I could write a better essay than 99% of the people taking the ACT, but I don’t have time to think when I’m forced to write more than two pages in half an hour.

Also, I am terrible at the Science section. Terrible. I was expecting a 36 or 35 on the Science section, since I thought it was extremely easy. Maybe the curve was harsh (I didn’t take that same killer Science section everyone else was complaining about.)
