My science actually dropped 3 points this time around.
And writing section isn’t up yet.

Did anyone get scores today? Or are the scores only posted up on wednesday’s and fridays? and can anyone guess at what time any more scores will be posted?

@Ayana624: If your score doesn’t show (it wasn’t processed, or you tested as a standby), they will be added as soon as they are processed and released during certain days of the week.

I’m still waiting for my writing score…though my October ACT scores are complete anyways because I got a 33 Composite on that test. =D

I live in Tennessee, and I’m still waiting on my scores. I didn’t test standby. I don’t think it’s a regional thing because my friends already have their scores. As of this morning, I don’t.

So, I’m pretty much freaking out still waiting!

ds just got scores posted sometime this morning between 8:15 and 11:30am. At 8:15, it didn’t even say “tested” yet. He registered late, literally almost the last half hour.

C=30
E=27, down from 28 in Sept
M=28
R=31
S=33

E/W: 32
W: 9

Aww, come on, I got a 35 Composite, does this mean I have to retake it?

@ddd928

when you mean late do u mean stand by testing?

finally got my score:
e: 36
m: 32
r: 30 (choked on the test miserably so I’m glad I didn’t get below a 30)
s: 28 (meh, third time i’ve got a 28 on science hehe)
c: 32

Overall I’m happy about my scores. I’m taking the ACT once more next month and I strongly believe I can get it to the 33-34 range. Just need to get my math score up by 2 points and my reading score up by 3-4 points (fully capable of doing this as long as I don’t choke). Science just seems to never want to change for me and it seems like I’m destined to get a 28 each time I take the test.

If you treat the Science section as a reading section (aka using the graphs, data tables, diagrams, compare/contrast passages, etc to justify your answers), then you will have no problem taking the Science section out. That’s what I did. :D

eagles…no, I meant that the late registration fee applied and we registered about 1/2 hour before midnight on the last day to late register. I asked ds, want to do this one more time? No tutoring, just one practice test and read Crash course book with 10 steps to improve score. Test at his school this time and composite up 3!!!

Composite: 30
English: 35
Math: 28
Reading: 28
Science: 28
Writing: 9, English/Writing: 32

All those writing and grammar lessons really brought my composite score up…quick question, do colleges look at the individual scores? Will they view this as really…28? or 30?

P.S. I’m happy with it even though I didn’t study for the ACT as much as I did for the SAT.

I got my scores yesterday :). I’m happy aside from the math section, but it’s not bad.

E: 36

C: 35

I was surprised by my science score, since I’ve aced practice tests before and got a 35 the last time I took it, but overall I’m still pretty happy. I think that part of my problem on that section was not double checking my answers.

CC, the only place around capable of making you feel bad about a 29 ACT. Does EVERYONE on this board have an insane score on the ACT or just the people who post their scores in this thread?

^Is a 32 an insane score? If so, then yes :)

In College Confidential forums, “high scores” are the norm here. “Average”, if you want to put it. ;)

Quick question, how important is the Combined English/Writing score compared to the Composite score? Is the writing score very important to universities?

lol my score report was finally mailed to me today, and I finally had the courage to look online (I was almost sure I had gone down from last time). Much, much better than I thought:
35 English (down from 36 last time, but that’s OK)
36 Math (up from 34 in March)
33 Reading (up 3 from last time; this I’m especially excited about)
30 Science (same as March 2010 test)
10 Essay
34 composite

Though I’ll probably end up just using my SAT score, bringing up my score with almost zero prep for the 2 months prior to the test and very, very little prep before that makes me happy. =)

so, i was standby and i just got my scores today… i got an 1810 SAT so I was expecting a 26 or 27, but, I got…

32 English
28 Math
33 Reading
31 Science
8 Essay
31 Composite

So happy, this should really help out for college apps!!
