Yes, I got 3600 as well. Great. Any more math doubts?

$4000 anyone?

@ Seahawks, Thanks i understand the calc behind the problem.
But, i may be remembering this question wrong. They gave no other qualifications about a & b other than ab > 10^5 right.
in that case, couldn’t a = a small number such as two and b = 50000?
Then that would give an answer of 2/5.

Again, i prolly just misremembered a detail in the question, so ty for helping with this.

@kbolivar23 yep, i got 4000 for the 1st grid-in. (something about lbs of candy)

wait was the traveler/lost cr section experimental?

pretty hard test in my opinion.

@kbolivar I remember I got 4000 for an answer. What was the question?

is it possible to score an 800M when I know I got 2 wrong? I must say that I doubt it.

Was 0 the answer to the one with the slopes of the parallelogram? I cant remember if you had to find the sum or the difference, but the slopes were parallel and no numbers were given. I put 0

Again, there was an algebraic way of solving the a+b one(I didn’t have a calc so I had to use it.) Rationalize the fractions on the top and you get ab/5a. Then you had the bottom being divided by b so it was ab/5ab. The ab’s cancel out and it became 1/5

never mind, didn’t see the a at the bottom of the fraction. Damnit…

@cortana431
was it a grid in or MC?

the parallelogram slope subtraction one was definitely 0.

What was the answer to the math question with the 5 different path’s: S to V, V to W etc?
Options were something like A) 5 B) 15 C)25 D) 32 E) 50

@gottawatathahahaha Yes it was 0, parallel slope’s are always the same.

o ok it was subtraction thanks. @nikanon it was a MC and it gave you a parallelogram on a graph and asked you to find the difference of the slopes of 2 parallel sides, but they’re the same so it was just 0

^^ It was a MC question.

i think it was 20. you can choose 5 paths to take in and 4 out so: 4 x 5 = 20

darn, was one of the choices 1? i think i picked 1…
for the paralellogram

was the traveler/lost cr section experimental. if so, predictions for scores?
-3 cr max
-3 grid-in math
-2 writing, essay minimum 10
