appreciate=comprehend in the ape passage

^^ It was how many minutes. The answer was 165.

Does everyone think writing was easy or hard? The curve can be so weird sometimes. Last time I took the Sat I got 47/49 MC and an 8 essay and I got a 720. When my sister took it a couple years ago she got 48/49 MC and a 9 essay she got a 780…

writing was easy, i predict a pretty harsh curve

do you remember a question in the homer/greek letters passage where it asked what the passage implied people thought about the poems before the groundbreaking research proved that homer’s intentions were to actually perform them as opposed to have them as written works?

im hoping i get a 12 on the essay and that carries my score :)

also, would 1 omit give me a 780 on writing with a 10-12 essay?

@frostedcupcake exactly what I remember answering

Whoaa.
For the dino passage’s first or second question, wasn’t it that the author did not interpret the fossil face the same way his friends did? Not “his friends belittled him”

Cus the line said “It wasn’t funny. It hurt me.”

Which means his friends thought it’d be funny to call him fossil face but the author didn’t interpret it that way.

@frosted if u get a 10 on the essay u might get like a 790… but i think a 11/12 brings u up to an 800

@rk good! that’s what I put down too I think :)

How hard is it to receive the 11s/12s essays?

so what were the different experimental sections? i’m unsure of which one i got

Can someone please answer me?

If you filled up 2 pages and had decent examples, then it’s not hard to get 11/12

I filled up 1 and 2/3 of the pages and had about 2 examples

@frostedcupcakes the answer for your homer question was scholars previously thought that those poems were written work. You kinda answered yourself already haha

@grape im pretty sure he was getting bullied.

i dont think he was dumb enough to believe they were teasing him.

@UChalpz1 if your 2 examples are good you’d probably get an 11! Usually people write 2 pages for 12s.

Which question was the one whose answer was present tense for contrast? And what were the options?
