@2020BOA I have the same problem. Got in but no score. It says my test is complete but no result. Pissed
2300!
800 math
800 writing
700 cr
disappointed with my cr but whatever. I’ll settle for the 2300
@indiavenne I have the same problem
I got a 69/80 on the writing section and an essay score of 9 and also received a score of 690. How is that
possible if a 67/80 with an essay score of 9 received a score of 690?
should i attempt to superscore? the 2300 was my first SAT attempt (though I did do a prep program)
Felt good about my score until I read this thread lmfao
800 Math
730 CR
690 W w/9 essay.
My practice scores for CR and W were always in high 700s. I don’t know what went wrong…
Looking forward to the November test!
I got an 800 on the CR, so I’ll say what I got on the more controversial CR questions if anybody wants me to, even though I could have missed one or two.
that is the tendency when people visit these forums
2320!
I really wanted to break 2300 and I did!
Math: 770
CR: 750
Writing: 800
Essay: 12
Curse you elusive 800 on math. Missed one freakin question.
CR: 800
M: 800
W: 770 (80/80, 8 essay)
judging by the 80/80 it seems like i would have gotten a 2400 if it werent for the essay… the fact that i was so close KILLS me. does anyone have any tips on scoring higher on the essay, particularly the people that scored 10+? i think im going to retake one more time.
I thought the CR was much harder than the practice. The passages were tricky and hard to follow imo. I was scoring around 2100 but only got a 1990 don’t know what happened
Why would anyone who gets a 2300+ retake?
Writing: 790 (Essay 11)
Reading: 770
Math(740)
for a score of 2300! Glad i’m finally done with this test!
Hope everyone else got what they wanted!!!
This was my first time taking the SAT and i got
Writing: 800 (Essay 11)
CR: 800
Math: 740 (GDIGDIGDIGDGDIGDI)
and i realize that 2340 is like really good and i shouldn’t be complaining but im kind of worried about my math score because I might want to major in engineering and stuff. I got an 800 on sat II math II but idk how this will affect it. If i were to take the test again, my scores in writing and cr werent a fluke and im pretty confident they would stay the same.
should i take the test again? will colleges care? PLEASE HALP unless you have like actual problems then just ignore me
M: 720
CR: 800
W: 780 (10 essay)
TOTAL: 2300
I’M SO FREAKING HAPPY. I got 2040 on the June SAT, so that’s a 260 point improvement! I haven’t done a single practice test since the June SAT…I don’t know how I even got 2300. I felt like I did really well on math and bombed writing and did okay at critical reading, but my guesses were totally off. Still kind of disappointed I didn’t do better in math (I even had time to check my answers), but HALLELUJAH a freaking 2300!!!
Also, I have no idea how I got a 10 on my essay when I only wrote 1 sentence for my conclusion, and one of my very bad examples was about Taylor Swift because that was the first thing that popped into my head.
I really need help from 800 or near 800 CRers. How did you guys do it?
I’ve scored 800s on M and W, but just cannot get above 700 on reading. If anybody had significant improvements in reading this time, do you have any tips? I know Erica Meltzer’s Critical Reader might be helpful. Any other resources you’ve used? How much time did you spend practicing CR everyday?
I’m debating between retaking the test in Nov or Dec. For those of you who are also doing the retake, what month are you retaking in?
My score is nowhere near as good as you all’s, but I’m still pretty happy.
CR: 700
M: 680
W: 670 (Essay: 8)
Composite: 2050
I’m really happy because anything above a 1500 is really uncommon at my school. I’m extremely happy, actually.
