October 4 SAT Critical Reading

no idea… i just remembered the right answer… i dont remember erudite being the right answer for any of them. but like i said earlier im not really good at cr

i kind of remember picking prolific and erudite for diff Qs…maybe just hindsight bias. …does anybody remember both answer choices for the same Q? that will settle it

did the question with nuance also have texture as a choice and talked about something with velvet feel?

What was “practical ideals” the answer to, and what were other answers?

common/affordable was the answer to what both arts/crafts groups had in common, NOT individual customization?

does anyone know any more jewelry/arts crafts questions?

come on I want to go to sleep! I need a good night esp after last haha

all right. i am thoroughly confused.
can somebody enlighten me?

why was the answer to the arts crafts passage common thingy – common and affordable?

i thought the passage EXPLICITLY stated that what both had in common was that one tried to mimick the crafting of jewels for the rich?

why cant I join in the AIM chat? it turns out to be age-restricted chat???

i thought the passage EXPLICITLY stated that what both had in common was that one tried to mimick the crafting of jewels for the rich?

Mm… it also said that the middle class was able to afford them… they may have mimicked the crafting of rich jewels and made them cheaper that way.

was “wry” an answer to a Boston question?

easternwind: Yes.

It mentioned in the text that those people were trying to make it “less expensive”, or affordable in other words.

all right, if you are correct then i got that q wrong (darn it)

anyone remember choosing “tentative” in SC?

i live in irvine, california! :D

it is less affordable

no,but i remember answering tentative for the physics/pipe painting passage

not tentative

wasnt it disturbing?

tentative nope,i remember seeing it,but not a correct answer

pretty sure it was tentative

here’s why:

he was talking about how people thought science was a bunch of hard facts, and he went on to explain how the facts do not adequately answer all of science’s question

the question was: how does the author view the hard facts in line…?

so i put down tentative, because it was the only choice that made sense

and the disturbed question was an in context vocab question, the answer was troubled

it was tentative. my friend with decent cr scores who took the test with me confirmed it.
