all right guys, i’m here to reconcile this ‘hypothetical scenario’ problem

first of all, if you remember the VERY FIRST word in the paragraph. (usually the first and last sentences of a passage contain fundamental clues that are useful in answering SAT CR questions)

the VERY FIRST WORD in that paragraph was…

drumroll *

SUPPOSE.

now, i think that implies ( if not directly STATES) a hypothetical scenario, doesn’t it? don’t read too much into the lines, you’ll get the question wrong.

It is hypothetical situation. We’re talking about Cars passage #2, para. #2?

The question said something like…: The author makes use of which of the following in paragraph 2?

Now, at the beginning of the paragraph (maybe one sentence before) it said “Now, suppose this situation.” SUPPOSE, hypothetical. Also, even if pointing out a fallacy was the PURPOSE of the paragraph, the question asked what the author made use of. I think anyway…

for the boston car passage (god how I hated that one) did any of the answers actually ‘involve’ (not really sure what the word is) “phenomenon” or no?

i believe that was the synesthesia passage.

anybody know what was the short passage before the synesthesia?
i know the second q for that passage was something like what will the author talk about possibly later in the passage? i dk anybody know what i’m talking about ?

“well, i got an 800 on june’s CR
=O”
lucky…wait…then why are you retaking the SAT? o_O;; haha…ambitious ppl. XD I’m like: at least 700: yay! whoopee! Hallelujah! XD
I hope I get at least 700 on this time’s CR… >3<

i’m a junior, PSAT is in a couple weeks and i’d like to remain fresh at my skills lol

i got a 710 on W and M last time, my mom was expecting at least 800 on W and 740-750 on M, bc that’s what i was scoring on practice tests. so she made me take it again
