When answering certain questions, it is necessary to look at the whole argument of the essay/paragraph. The passage is arguing that it is essential for us to look at knowledge from other perspectives. Looking at a certain image from only one way is not only overly simplistic, but debatable.

I really do not know. I am sure it is -4 = 800 because I ordered the Q&A service. However, remember getting 6 wrong is like - 7.5 = -8? I guess that’s y?

hmm, yeah, this time everyone i know was disappointed by how they did on the cr. i think the curve would be a lot easier, and based on the conversion tables that they have in the handy blue book, i seems as if this time cr might be on the higher end of the chart. which is really what im hoping for -_-. ill shoot myself if i get less than a 2330 just cuz of like a 720 in cr --.

I remember thinking the reading in June was easy, and I got -6 = 720. So hopefully the curve will be better this time, anyone think a -6 could be a 750?

Shifu you need to learn to interpret conversion charts. A minus 4 is a raw score of a 63 (67-4=63), which correlates to a 790 on the October 2007 chart. HOWEVER that is only if all of those are omits, if there was 0-1 omits of those 4 then the raw score would be a 62 and thus a 770. Pretty lenient curve, but I don’t think this time around it’ll be as lenient as that 2007 October curve.

My prediction on October 2008 Curve
It’s basically the same curve from October 2007 and January 2007.
October CR was definitely challenging - if we are complaining on this board, then EVERYONE is complaining

ugh, i hate how ive been basically thinking i missed like 5-8 on CR, and now ive noticed how terrible itd be if i missed 7, not only based on the above post but also based on what ive seen in the past ugh -__-

you guys keep arguing about whether the shakespeare one is “industrious” or “genius” but it’s neither!!! It’s definately not genus because the choice said “genius to the highest degree”. This choice is way too strong. While both passages said he was genius, they didn’t stress it enough for the answer to be “to the highest degree”. And it’s not idustrious because the only thing the first passage said that is remotely related to industry is the 2-3 books a year, and that is hardly industrious…

The answer is that no one really knows everything about him. Both passages were based around him being mysterious and hard to understand.

kevin, you’re twisting the q. obviously we don’t know EVERYTHING about him, but that wasn’t a choice, the choice was “little is known about shakespeare’s life.”
