Hey guys,

Since there’s no thread about the international test… let’s discuss all the answers from 69B

What I remember:

What did “save” most directly mean? I put maintain but I was really unsure…
There was a question on english of “who” or “whom”… about the swimmer beating five men
Question about the summer camp in Dakota about “the starry night that I had not yet imagined”

I think those were the only questions I had problems with…

Anyone?

do you remember the options for the ‘save’ question? In fact all of those questions? I can give you my answers if you can remember them?

Hey. I’ve taken the same test.
I don’t remember neither “save” nor “the starry night that I had not yet imagined” answers I have circled.
In another question I put “who” for sure.
Where are you from?

if i was given a list of the choices i could tell you what i answered… i took it in Australia how about you? ^ ivydreamerr

Poland
I have chosen other option than “maintain”, but I wasn’t sure there though.
Math and science sectrions were sooo easy. English (despite a few questions where I had to guess) and reading not too difficult, I would say average.

im just hoping for a 30+… i ran out of time for 5 science questions so just randomly guessed… but maths was good might have gotten 1 or two wrong but i think it went well! hopefully

I think I have good shot at 31 or 32 - max or submax math and science scores and 26-30 in english and reading.

The starry night I had not yet imagined was about including a detail using an image that was used in the passage… i was confused between “an imaginary world of endless possibilities” or something and that one, but I didn’t see anything about imaginary worlds so I chose the starry night (because it was about how he found solitude and discovered a new perspective at night in the summer camp)

for save, it was about the golden sky “save” some of the gold light that was used for the halo of the saint… I didn’t understand what it meant at all, but the choices included “avoid, except, maintain” and something else.

Other things I remember:

The birds in the ecosystem were in prairies right? There was data about sparse grasslands, and the passage talked about how they lived in grasslands. The other choices were desert, swamp, and forest.

The one about the decay of teeth in mothers/children, the highest was xylitol and lowest was flouride. I first put the other way around, but I realized that the question asked for the highest decay rate, not the decay-free rate, which was the rate given in the data.

I’m hoping for a 35, as long as I didn’t make stupid mistakes.

Sorry, I don’t remember my choice in that first question.
“Save”: I put “except”, “Birds”: prairies, “Decay”: number I had the highest decay rate, number III the lowest, whatever their names were
And well, I’m not sure that my answers are correct.

Oops, I’m a little late. Has any of you taken the ACT test before? If yes, how would you compare the science and math sections this time to previous tests?

It was my first time taking the ACT, but in comparison to practice tests (Barron’s and the Princeton Review) math and science reasoning sections were easy.
