Her father bought the home (listed at $564k) with a large downpayment (i.e. gifts from supporters)…you’re right, where is he going to live? The current home they are living is under foreclosure…I wonder what bank qualified them for the loan while their current loan is in default?

I may have missed something , but I got the impression that Nadya’s parents are divorced.

They are indeed divorced, and I believe the dad works overseas as a translator.

^ Ah, OK that makes sense. The dad qualified for the mortgage on his own. Nadya wouldn’t qualify because she has no job and the mom wouldn’t qualify because she’s in default on her mortgage.

Grandma may have gotten her house in the divorce and has been unable to keep up with the payments.

If Grandpa is allowing Nadya and her kids to live in his home, I’m guessing he won’t want Grandma to be there.

I know I keep harping on this, but the house is still too small for that many kids, especially considering how many caregivers will be taking up space in it. I wouldn’t want to spend one minute in that house – too much going on. I feel so sorry for the kids who will have to share the attention of one parent. These kids are all very young, ages 7 and under, with 8 physically fragile newborns, and they all need close supervision and support from parents, which they won’t be getting.l

This morning on the Today Show, they interviewed a neighbor who doesn’t seem to happy about them moving into her quiet neighborhood…
I agree that the house is still too small. I wonder if the master bedroom will be the nursery ?

What a nightmare for the poor neighbors. I don’t foresee Nadya giving up her media spotlight anytime soon.

Serious question (and I doubt anyone knows the answer): In a lot of four-bedroom homes, there may also be a media room, or family room, or study, or den, or library, in addition to the living room, dining room, and kitchen. So, maybe this house has more space than we’re aware of.

I sure hope so.

It does have three bathrooms, which is what I think they would need at a minimum.

HEY…looks like her house is 3 blocks from my office…is there anything you folks want me to tell her?

Here is the house listing; it does have a livingroom and a family room.

Don’t know why my above post looks like that as that is not how I typed it! I went back and in the message box it looks correct; oh well, I guess you get the idea!

Any irony in that street name?

God, I fear for whoever has to be neighbors with her…14 kids, all under age 7. Bloody Hell.

That house is a similar sq footage to mine. I can’t imagine 14 kids living in my house.

I have a larger house then that, and I couldn’t imagine 15/18 people…(allowing for any live-in help). Even with just Nadya and the 14 kids, thats gonna be super tight, once those kids are out of cribs and crawling! It will be one of those things where its too small to live, and at the same time too big for her to watch all the rooms the kids could get into!!

Nightmare city!! Better her then me…(sorry, I had to say it)

What’s up with all those chairs lined up in the living room? Was it a funeral parlor?

Just drive by and throw out a package of diapers every now and then…

I just have a feeling of dread that something is going to happen to one or more of those babies once she has less nursing care in the picture. One of the older kids is going to hurt them or there will be some kind of accident. I can’t shake this feeling.

lol!!! :D

Her father told Oprah that he and her mom are still very, very good friends; in fact, I think he said best friends… just can’t be married to each other.
