Octuplets' mom already has 6 young kids at home.

I feel very sorry for the people next door to that house.

This morning’s news said the new house is a 4 BR 2 BA house… Hmmmmm…

jym–where have you been there are already links posted with pics?

Not sure what you are asking, SF. This was on one of the morning talk shows in an interview with Nadya.

PS Why not take the donations or what not and set up a trust, get a good lawyer, and do it so that the trust purchases the house and this keeps it out of the limelight for awhile. The dad said earlier something to the effect that he would buy a big house and it would be a big secret and no one would know. Now, he buys it in his name, and the media circus just follows them. The pics show a house that looks smaller than its quoted square footage, with the house on its right a mere 4-5 feet away–zero lot line? And on a cul-de-sac that is small. Geezz. I really do feel for the neighbors. The media circus will not let up soon, and the street will be impassable at times. Yikes. This doesn’t seem much better. This looks to be just the right house for 2 grandparents, a daughter and six kids, NOT 14 kids. This is crazy. Four bedrooms means one for the grandparent(s) one for Nadya and one for 6 kids and the other for 14? Still not right. And the help that will be needed…still NOT RIGHT.

Jym–I meant that the address and pics were already posted here on post 1310 yesterday!!! Your behind!!! Just kidding. I was being sarcastic. Sorry. I meant to say where have you been? There are already pics posted! In too big a hurry to make sense today.

Is Dad not going back to Iraq and now taking over Grandmom? If he does I hope he keeps a short lead on his daughter (Nadya) by demanding that she steps up to the table as a parent!

My 100 buck bet is Dad(Grandpa) got donations from Oprah and was guilted from her that the state would not allow the children to come home because of the house her Mom owns…he did it out of love and duty for those children. Just wait I am willing to go double or nothing in 3 yrs from now, the house will be foreclosed on and in the same sad shape as her mothers.

I just read that Angels in Waiting are going to be a part of her life…I guess Gloria Alred won!

I am curious, did I miss something, or is she really on her 3rd PR company withing 6 weeks? What does that tell us about her…PR people would rather leave than be associated with her?

I had read that money for the house came from the sale of pictures of the octuplets. That makes sense to me even though the Dad is purchasing the house because I doubt Nadya could purchase it without any credit history that was good, etc. In other words, he may own the title but some funds came from publicity money that Nadya obtained.

I am sure Nadya was persuaded by Gloria Alred and Dr. Phil to take the Angels in Waiting offer because the hospital was not gonna release the babies unless something was in place for them. And no matter how much money Nadya may be able to obtain through publicity type deals, the issue is not only about the money she will need but about the sheer adult care of 14 children under age seven, where 8 are preemies. Even I could not do that, LOL, and Nadya surely cannot. In order to get the kids, she was gonna have to give in to some type of structured help in the home.

I do find it ironic that Nadya once said publicly that she doesn’t want anyone to know where she will live and wants to be left alone…because not only is her address now widely publicized, but she has been in the limelight voluntarily as well as whatever she didn’t initiate.

I think the Dad is purchasing it so Nadya can retain her indigent status. It makes a difference when qualifying for benefits.

What is funding Angels in Waiting? Do they just get reimbursed from the state? It’s a nursing agency not a charity, they must be getting paid somehow.

Did Nadya’s parents get divorced for financial reasons? You divorce, but still live together (as I was under the impression they do), then one gets to walk away from a mortgage, and at the same time the other can still buy another house for both of them? Just a thought.

electronblue: I had read that Angels in Waiting had the funds to donate their services to Nadya for six months but after that, they need to rely on donations to keep up their volunteer work. The donations are private and not through the state. Again, that is what I read a while back when the original offer was made to Nadya.

There are probably a lot of corporations and individuals who would donate to Angels in Waiting, who not NOT otherwise donate to this “cause.” I suspect the Angels group to start soliciting donations for the octuplets and their care once the ink is dry on a contract.

In a video released today of Nadya doing a walk through of her new home, she states that her parents did not help purchase the house and that she purchased it herself by taking offers (like i said earlier…selling pictures or things of that sort…NOT donations). This is quite plausible. She says she will selectively take offers in order to fund the enormous expenses she will have, though hopes to also get donations but hasn’t gotten any donations so far.

The one thing she says on the video that made me cringe is when she said she was paying for the house herself (having taken some monetary offers)…she said, “I earned it”. That wording is just so…ugh. She did not “earn” it. I suppose by birthing so many childen, she was able to make some money deals. I can see her saying she paid for it herself, and not her parents and how she did so but the words, “I earned it,” are just cringe worthy!

I also agree with sunnyflorida and recall mentioning this way back when Angels in Waiting made the offer to her…that it was a good arrangement because people may donate directly to Angels knowing exactly what the money will be used for and the appropriate care that will ensue, whereas they are less apt to send Nadya money.

The caption to a photo from the Orange County Register this morning: Nadya Suleman, emerges from the home with her own camera crew in tow.

I don’t know how to bold something but she has her OWN camera crew now? What in the world?

There’s an expression my D uses, and I now get it…this woman is an attention whore.

Oh another picture says (and shows) this: Nadya Suleman arrives in her minivan with her cell phone pressed to her ear.

Ummm, hello, ma’m the state of California has a law since last July, NO HANDS ON use of cell phones!

I just want to read the paper!

And that mini van has how many car seats in it??

I wonder who is going to donate the bus she needs for her family? Oh wait; she isn’t going to take her kids anywhere, she will leave them with her house full of caregivers! I mean, how can you get your nails done with kids in tow. You want to make a bet she doesn’t stay home all day?

Of course she’s not going to be staying home. She’s going back to school to complete her degree so she can be a child care consultant on TV.
