This lady can’t seem to get her story straight. The realtor confimed to AP that the deed was made in her dad’s name, so how is it her parent’s had “nothing to do with it”? Did she steal his identity? I think it’s so that she doesn’t have a big asset in her own name…kinda fishy.

"The Southern California mother of octuplets said in a video posted online Wednesday that she _ not her parents _ is paying for the four-bedroom, three-bath home where she plans to raise her brood. In the video posted on RadarOnline.com, Nadya Suleman disputed earlier remarks by the house’s listing agent, who said her father was buying the home.

Prudential Realty listing agent Mike Patel confirmed Wednesday that the home’s title was made in the name of Ed Doud, who is Suleman’s father. Patel also said the house was being bought, not leased.

In the video, Suleman said she made the initial payment on the house and that she was leasing with an option to buy. Her parents, she said, “had nothing to do with it.”

Suleman’s lawyer, Jeff Czech, did not return calls from The Associated Press seeking clarification."

The term “compulsive liar” come to mind. Maybe she just can’t distinguish between reality and her fairy tale world. The woman is just not right in the head.

I seriously have to doubt the sanity of anyone who reproduces on more than five occasions or has more than five kids.

If I end up with twins the first time, I’m seriously going to tell Mrs. Futurenyustudent (whoever that may be) that Kid #3 will make me lose my will to live.

Maybe she can get her husband to buy her a small bus to schlep all 14 kids around. I can’t imagine that they’ll ever be able to go on vacation of eat out…house in foreclosure, no job, and you can spend $150 plus tips to eat out?

Some people do have lots of kids on purpose though. There’s a family in Arkansas I think that has 17 kids-but unlike the Octomom, the father is an accountant and they can perfectly afford them. Of course, I’m not sure if they thought as far as university…

This is pretty catty of me, but there was a funny clip on youtube of Jimmy Kimmel mocking her supposed birth video. Funny if you are up for a good laugh.

This woman is insane. She had no means to support the 6 children she already had and then gives birth to 8 more… If thats not insane, I dont know what is.

Sunnyflorida-- (re posts 1322-26)
My comment from this morning (which also wasnt clear-- sorry) was to point out that what she said on this morning’s news was that the house had 2 BA, not 3 BA. Is she confused, an idiot, or can’t count (or all 3??!). Hope she can count to 14, or she’ll be calling DFACS again when she cant count all the kids, threatening again to kill herself. Those poor kids…

oh, and futurenyustudent-- you referenced in post 1343

"
Suleman showed the house, gesturing animatedly as she toured the living room, dining room and kitchen, and a den off the kitchen that she said she plans to turn into a nursery.

All the cribs will be kept in that room and two babies will share each crib, she said, “unless one is sick, because they are so strong and healthy right now. … Six are ready to come home.”

“Two are little and they need to gain weight, and that’s it. There’s no medical problem,” she said.

I have heard state several times there are no medical problems, if that is true, they are truly miracles. Even Dr. Phil stated to her that typically the many medical issues surface during the 1st yr. My nephew was a preemie weighing 3.4 lbs, and he does have CP, not extreme, but also not officially diagnosed until he was about 4 months old. They were well aware that there was an issue, but until he was officially diagnosed, they would say we think he might have a mild case of CP, but the docs haven’t made a decision yet. I love her, but we all knew, she just wasn’t ready to hear what they were saying.
IMVHO Nadya is doing the same thing…twisting what she is being told into her own fantasy. She admits one is still on Oxygen, isn’t that a medical issue. Another has a cleft palate…I would consider that a medical problem. She does not want to admit to the public that there are medical issues. She is not living in the state of California, she however does live in either the state of DENIAL or FANTASY not sure which one though!

both of my kids participated in a high risk infant follow up study at UW. They were followed until they were 8 years old. They were also both singletons.

She is obviously being poisoned by some type of heavy metal and it has affected her reasoning.
The children should be examined closely in case they have been exposed.

I was reading the message boards on Dr. Phil, and I am sure Nadya has read them too! The majority of them still criticize her over and over again.

I must admit I am torn because Dr. Phil had all of these people donating things for her new house. The rationale part feels that she needs, the emotional part feels like saying Dr. Phil…you fool! You just proved to her that she doesn’t have to stand up on her own 2 feet, but instead somebody will always save her…like her folks. She will be back again for another handout!

OTOH, he did make the point that the issue needs to be how to get the children the care and finances they will need. That’s probably how he views what he’s doing.

I read the entire transcript of the Dr. Phil interview- I was impressed by how much he
confronted her with unpleasant reality while supporting her emotional issues-
as we all know, when you talk to someone, you have to be non- judgmental enough to elicit their cooperation- otherwise people often refuse to even look at their behavior.

Not that I would defend this woman at all, but isn’t it typical for twins and/or preemies to share a crib at the beginning? I know while my niece had two cribs for her twin boys, they still shared a crib for the first few months; at least I think they did!

I hesitate to comment because I can’t think of anything nice to say. How can this woman not be with her children all day, either the 6, or the 8 in the hospital? I get the impression she is furniture or curtain shopping while other people take care of her offspring.

If she’d show a little more maternal urgency other people would be happy to shop for her.
