Octuplets' mom already has 6 young kids at home.

^^^ Actually, according to this [Octomom Seeks Trademark - April 15, 2009](<a href=“The Smoking Gun: Public Documents, Mug Shots”>Octomom Seeks Trademark | The Smoking Gun) she has filed. Well, to clarify, all she did was sign her name to the first page and the remaining stuff was filed by an attorney named Edgar Averill in Whittier, CA (when you read the link, scroll down to the bottom of pg 1 and click on the 7 pgs at the bottom to see the whole document). Someone paid a $550 filing fee plus additional fees, totalling $825. Well, thats less than she paid for her makeup on one of her spending sprees.

[News - Gloria Allred: Octo-Mom May Be Violating California State Child Labor Laws | Usmagazine.com](http://www.usmagazine.com/news/gloria-allred-octo-mom-is-violating-california-state-child-labor-laws-200945)

Uh oh, how will she spend the money if Gloria makes sure she can’t! It also shows the stupidity of Nadya, Gloria Alred is not somebody I would want to ever mess with!

"Attorney Gloria Allred believes Nadya Suleman may be violating a number of California state child labor laws by booking numerous jobs for her newborn octuplets.

At a press conference Monday, Allred announced that she and child advocacy group “A Minor Consideration” have filed a petition in Orange County Superior Court to protect the financial interests of the babies and to appoint a guardian over their estate.

“Rather than chose to provide her children with a normal life, their mother, Nadya Suleman, has chosen to commercially exploit them,” Allred said. “We believe that the babies are entitled to remuneration since most of the compensation appears to be use of their images.”

The goal, she added, is “to be sure that the babies receive their fair share of payments” and that their payments “be placed into separate accounts for them and preserved for them as required by law.”

Let’s see now, she’s trademarking the insulting name, I’m guessing she’s going to want a logo to go with it. How about an octopus sporting a huge pair of lips?

(I hate myself for giving into that)

^^^^ Great find!!! :D

I suspect that doctors and her mom were so concerned that she’d get pregnant again that they exaggerated the dangers of fibroids, which I’ve had for decades and have been told they rarely turn cancerous.

"After giving birth to 14 children, octomom Nadya Suleman will have half of her uterus removed, the Daily News reported…

Suleman told RadarOnline.com she is having the procedure because doctors found benign fibroids growing in her uterus.

“They’re worried there could be, like, pre-cancerous cells,” Suleman said. “I’m terrified.”
[14 Is Enough: Octomom to Have Half Her Uterus Removed - Pregnancy - FOXNews.com](http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,519482,00.html)

How ironic that she is terrified NOW…and why just half of her uterus ?

To match the fact that she has half a brain??

(Sorry – I couldn’t resist. How mean of me.)

VeryHappy, you are just evil.

However, I will not be outdone, so I will once again give into my baser self and say that Nadya may be feeling that her internet hits are a bit low, and as she is obviously courageous in the face of elective surgery, I wonder if this is just her idea of a new publicity campaign.

Apparently all has not gone well with the surgery. They will try again on Monday.

[octomom surgery](<a href=“News, Politics, Sports, Mail & Latest Headlines - AOL.com”>News, Politics, Sports, Mail & Latest Headlines - AOL.com)

“They tried to do surgery to remove the fibroids, but she was bleeding excessively, so they stopped,” Angela Suleman said. “They are going to try again Monday.”
With Nadya in the hospital, Angela has been busy helping take care of the octuplets and their six older siblings."

I continue feeling sorry for Angela. After abdominal surgery, and with excessive bleeding, even Nadya – who seems to have the constitution of an ox-- probably will be out of commission for a long time.

Will this thread ever die? I keep thinking we’ve finally heard the end of Octomom, but then there she is in the news again.

At least she’s being spayed.

(I am more evil than any of you.)

I bow to you NYMom. You are the new reigning Queen of Evil.

Nope, not spayed. Fertility may be enhanced, she now says. Rumors are that she may be having tummy reduction surgery, too. According to a couple of entertainment blogs (which is why I can’t post links):

"After claiming that a procedure to remove fibroids from her uterus would result in the removal of half of her uterus, Nadya Suleman is doing a little tap dancing.
She now admits that she “exaggerated” about the procedure and that it will actually “enhance” her fertility. She spoke with Radar Online about the subject in an exclusive video.
“I’m not having half my uterus removed,” she said. “That may have been an exaggeration on my part. It’s called a myomectomy, they’re removing the fibroids and part of the uterus and actually it enhances fertility, it doesn’t reduce it.”

Gah!!!

What the F! Maybe the docs can tell her they are giving a tummy tuck, but actually tie her tubes!

No reputable doc would implant more embryos in this woman.

Of course, no reputable doc would have implanted the last batch, either.

And – scariest of the scarey thoughts – what if this means she can get pregnant with no fertility help? Just by doing it the old-fashioned way? Then they’ll be no stopping her.

Oh crap now I will have nightmares tonight, because that thought didn’t even come into my mind!
