Odd Essay Prompts -- How to Answer?

I was invited to apply for the University of Florida Honor Program, and I have to answer one of the following questions:

Tell the story of Chester C. Cluckington, the first chicken to cross the road.

Are we alone?

Who was the better tree climber, Napoleon or Attila the Hun?

I’m not planning on answering the second one. What I’m wondering is though, is the University expecting an equally silly response or a serious answer? I mean, how does one go about answering any of these questions.

I am also currently filling out the honors program application and was wondering the same thing… good luck and Congratulations on your acceptance!! GO GATORS  !!!

Bump. Help please! :)

Write whatever you think is appropriate. We want to see your personality shine through the essays, which is something we cannot see through a resume. Hope this helps.
