Odd question...

Anyone wanna tell me how to operate a cash register?

To operate a cash register…

1) run every single day. intermix sprint workouts.
2) plan operation.
3) go to gas station.
4) pick up cash register.
5) throw cash register on ground.
6) cash register busts open.
7) grab cash.
8) run.

optional step 3.5 threaten cashier w/ gun

Why is the gun optional? That seems like the fun part.

What kind of cash register? It differs with different types of cash registers. The ones at my work, you just scan the barcodes, hit total, select payment type, and that’s basically all. But the one at my mother’s fabric store, you just type in the amount the item costs, hit a 1,2,3,4,5,or 6 button, depending on what type of item it is (1 is fabric, 2 is trim, 3 is home decor…etc). Then you hit subtotal, and type in the amount they are giving you and the payment type. I guess it just depends on what type of cash register you are using. It is pretty easy to operate one though.

I didn’t want to be responsible if you shot yourself.

Thanks

Where I worked, there are buttons for “taxable” and “non-taxable” items. You type in the price and hit the button accordingly. There’s a button for total cost with tax, and total cost without tax (so you hit the one w/tax to see the total). Type in the amount the customer gives you, and hit the button to make the tray pop out, and it displays how much change to give them.
