Odd Situation

I was the President of the Debating Society. Then a teacher saw me smoking. I was 18 and outside school at the time so I didn’t break any rules or laws. But suddenly, the school said my “leadership was lacking” so they downgraded me to Vice-Prez a week before my graduation.

Now the only thing reflected in my record is Vice-Prez. I am afraid it will jeopardize my applications to Ivy Leagues. Should I quietly accept the VP thing or ask my cousellor to mention this in her write-up of me?

Btw, I cant change the school decision

Help…

Sounds like your school sucks and needs to get its head out of its ass

umm… No.

…

I think that advice should go to the OP.

Battle of the usernames!!

You’re already graduating?.. but you’re still applying to college…? I don’t think your future college will be fact-checking your entire application… Also, most schools don’t even have leadership/extracurriculars in their records.

I’m confused.

You’ve already graduated? Shouldn’t you have already gotten into college by now?

2 years national service is compulsary for all males in Singapore. thats whre i live btw. so i apply this yr.

and to username (the second replier), i shouldnt be judged as a leader for smoking. its personal and its legal. in any case, it was mere experimentation. and it was tobbacco, not pot.

why dont we just make obama the VP as well then…
