Oddball Barber Pulls Gun on an Innocuous Customer

O.K, I am willing to allow that this barber is an oddball and that his conduct may not be motivated by racial animus, but…

how is it that he continues to own a firearm? If the details are true as reported, he has other incidents of threatening unarmed and inoffensive customers. The guy sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

Incidentally, some state licensing boards expressly prohibit this barber’s conduct and his stated rationale. An African-American female barber once explained to me that her state’s regulations denied barbers the right to refuse to cut someone’s hair based on ethnicity or gender. She said her state-approved training explicitly addressed “ethnic” hair types and that though she wasn’t particularly good at it, she did not refuse service to white males who entered her shop.

For the exact same reason that the vast majority of drunk drivers have multiple offenses of driving drunk long before they harm anyone in an accident - and this is after many people, including their families, know these people routinely drink and drive.

It is just legally difficult to take away someone’s privilege (driving is a privilege); it is even more difficult to take away someone’s constitutional right.

In both cases, there needs to be people willing to provide proof and substantiate charges that the people are a danger to others. If people do not come forward, then the person continues to drive drunk or to threaten people with a legal firearm.

“how is it that he continues to own a firearm”

Because guns don’t kill people.

/sarcasm off

Because Freedumb.

YYYYYYYEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

That man is a perfect example of someone who should not be allowed to own guns.

7 or 8 police reports should do it!
