Odds of a mistake in grading?...I know it's highly unlikely

I got a 34M and I was positive I got a 36, and all my other scores are in the high/mid 20s to give me a 28C, 1 down from last time.

Not even my superscore went up.

If I asked for them to regrade it by hand what would they send me? Do i get the Q/A I missed?

Is it worth it?

Thanks

Also my subscores in math are

18
18
16 – and I have always gotten 18s in trig/geo the 2 other times I’ve taken it :O

You could have possibly made a careless mistake you didnt know about. I doubt they’re ever really wrong unless you didnt erase completely or something… Anyhow, a 34M is a great score!

Thanks, it’s just that when we were discussing in CC, I got every single one right.

Also, since my previous math was a 35 and my superscore is a 30.25, if my math really was a 36, I would have a 31 which is the average of where I want to get in. :(

I want to go cry :'(

What will I get in return if I pay to get it rescored? :O

I’m in a similar predicament. I went from a 28 in math to a 20. and I felt goood about the this test. like 30 minimum. so I’ll shell out the dough.

Owie :(…let’s cry together

I was positive i got a 36 but i got a 35. Odds are, like me, we made a stupid mistake and one or more questions :. Sucks i know

losing one point makes sense but dropping 8 points, after studying for two months and doing consistently well on practice tests, I can’t understand what happened?

You mean to say that you went over all 60 math questions on cc after taking the test??? That’s overkill. And even if you did, maybe you messed up bubbling. A 34 is a great math score. It’s not only possible, but highly likely that you made a careless error or missed something.

Wiz, I tutor people in math and a 36 is a good advertisement…Oh well…back to the boring ole 35 :'(
