<p>I honestly think the only reason they provide an option to do this is so that they can boast these numbers.
“Hey, we must really be awesome and prestigious if 100k kids want to work here!”</p>

<p>This isn’t how you break into IBD. Here’s how you really do it:

  1. You go to a target school and attend on-campus interviews.
  2. You’re URM and apply through diversity programs.
  3. You work your tail off at a non-target and network like there’s no tomorrow for an interview.</p>
