# of AP's at my School

Hello all! First post wooo! I’m not even sure if this post is in the right section, buttt here I go. I’m a intelligent/hard-working rising 9th grader, but not by any means a genius. I got A’s for all of middle school, other than a B+ in Algebra in 7th grade(give a kid a break?). I already took Alg 1, Geometry, and Spanish in middle school. I struggled, but pulled off an A in geometry and spanish, and B+ in Algebra. Okay, so I know that when applying to colleges your schedule is either “most rigorous” or, well, not. But my problem/advantage is that I’m going to TJHSST. . Now, being the second best highschool in the country, it effectively offers about, idk, 500 AP’s? And I know for sure some of my peers will take, idk, 498 of them. But not me. I’m wondering how many AP’s will I have to take to fit in the most rigorous category? I’m hoping 8 will do it, but if not, well, that’s what i get for overachieving, right? Thanks for your time.

The only way to know is to ask a guidance councilor at your school. They are the ones that fill out the forms stating whether or not your schedule is most rigorous.

Thanks for the aDVICE!!!
