Guys for real here I get more crime alerts than i get spam and thats saying something. Im not *ed that they email me everytime something happens im *ed it happens this often. For real? three guys robbing a house?
I mean Im cool with the ghetto ****. ghetto music, ghetto cars, ghetto clothes all that, I mean everyhing is cool EXCEPT for the actual ghetto. I mean seriously this is absurd.

I was thinking the same thing, makes me wonder where I’m gonna live next year

The campus is in metropolitan area. It happens. The campus itself is absolutely secure. The students on campus (and surrounding areas under the watch of campus security) during the LA riots were safer than anyone outside it. NYU crime stats/alerts are even worse.

Are you kidding? I’ve gotten 3 DPS crime report emails in the past two months. Granted, that is more than the spam emails I get (zero) but it’s hardly evidence of a crime epidemic.

Yeah, this is the first one I’ve gotten in forever.

yet another crime alert

I’ve gotten three DPS alerts in the last 3 days. While I think this is hardly something to be concerned about, it’s a bit disconcerting.

apparently we have some kids who have never lived in the city before

as long as you dont wander off capus at 11 at night, your fine
you just need to use common sense

id say 9… time of incidents for last 3 alerts were between 9 and 10:05

…and I’ve lived in Los Angeles my entire life.

^ what part of LA? Glendale? Koreatown? Silverlake? Echo Park? West Hollywood? Highland Park? My point is that your living in LA says nothing. Anyone who knows LA knows that even neighboring communities can have polar amounts of crime incidence.

Also, so it turns out that that spike in DPS notifications were all due to one person, who was caught today.
