<p>What’s the most a college asks for?</p>

<p>How many must be from a teacher?</p>

<p>This is fo course not counting the rec from your guidance counselor.</p>

<p>I need to know by tonight so I can ask for recs from my teachers to give to my GC to write her rec.</p>

<p>1) The most I’ve heard of a college asking for is two. However, you can send more. Double-check with your specific schools.
2) They almost ALWAYS have to be from CORE teachers (ie, English, math, science, social studies, language). Any additional recs (electives, club advisers, employers, etc.) can be sent as additional recs.</p>

<p>When does your GC want the letters? Because if it’s less than a month, you kinda dropped the ball…</p>

<p>usually it’s one from a counselor and one from a teacher… but it sometimes will be two from a teacher.
if it’s only one, it wouldn’t hurt to send an extra.</p>
