Finding Off-Campus Apartment in a new city? new roommates?

Craigslist, usually. Sometimes Airbnb but most young people seem to use craigslist.
Many cities will have facebook groups dedicated to this.
Are you a college student, recent HS grad, recent college grad, a parent, or what? Starting a new job…or going to undergrad or grad school? Or just moving out?
My answer could vary depending on this.

Your college is apt to have resources for finding apartments and roommates on their website. Search off campus housing.
Freshman or transfer or returning student?
Check with the university itself. There probably is a link to information about off-campus housing right on the website. Do you know anyone else who will be going there? Could you house-hunt together?
for many college towns, there are usually leasing agents that cover a lot of apartments, similar to real estate agents.
DD found her roommate on the schools Facebook page. Then they found a place on the school’s links.
