Off Campus Classes

One of the classes I want to register for is full, but has a Off Campus section open. Does that mean I would have to take the class online or something?

unless it says the class is an online course, they probably will have you meet in a building off campus (but nearby of course). what specific class is it?

Lemme guess, it’s an advanced (400-level) engineering class. In that case, “off campus” is for distance education students who watch the class online. If you’re an on-campus student, they might not let you register for the “off campus” section.

You might be able to still get into the class by talking with your department advisor.

Also, for DEN classes (those with “off campus” sections), all students get access to the online lecture videos and everything regardless if they’re registered in the on- or off- campus sections of the same class.

It is a 500 level Engineering course- Foundations of Artificial Intelligence. I guess I will find out more during orientation or when speaking w/ my advisor.

Thanks for the help!
