I am a new transfer for the fall and my friends were thinking of living on some apartment on Tiverton Avenue(right next to Ralph’s and best buy).

They’re all south campus majors so I know it is very convenient for them. However, I am a north campus major. What are your thoughts on this? I don’t really remember how far Tiverton is from the north side of the campus, but is it very big hassle to get there from Ralph’s?

it’s actually easier to get to north campus from tiverton and hilgard because classes are closer to the eastern edge of campus. there’s more walking across campus when you live west of campus.

however if you’re fairly south on tiverton you’ll still have to walk up hilgard.

If you live on Tiverton, that’s really convenient to the Wilshire Center shuttle on LeConte and Tiverton. Just hop on that and it will take you to Lot 2, about a block away from Murphy. That’s a really ideal location…how much are you paying?

The cheapest unit we found was 2300, so that’s like 575 a person. I saw the place, it’s really nice and it’s super close to Westwood Village too.
I am a little bit disappointed that it’s a bit far from the north but hey, college kids need to work out more these days!

The apartment is right near the intersection of le Conte and Tiverton.
