I am considering Wesleyan.
Everything appeals to me in terms of its intellectual and diverse student body, and the variety of courses offered</p>
<p>HOWEVER</p>
<p>I am very independent and know that regardless of how much I love Wes, I would want to be able to have at least a BIT of a life off campus, be it a job, an internship or social life not relating to my college.</p>
<p>What off-campus opportunities exist?, and how accessible are they?</p>
<p>Is it common for Wes kids to get internships off campus during the school year, say in a bigger city?</p>
