<p>The wacky, nocturnal world of college students has got me thinking about personal safety.
Does anyone have any kind of experience with these sorts of apps? Some of them look pricey and complicated.</p>

<p>I am just looking in to this myself, but I am finding apps that can be set up to send out help messages, generate loud alarms etc. Of course this would be no substitute for common sense. But as long as the technology is out there…</p>
