Offcampus or Oncampus housing @UCLA

I’m going to be a third year as a transfer to UCLA. Don’t know whether or not to go with off campus housing or on campus housing. I hear the dorm foods rated #1 in the U.S and you can meet more people if you are on campus, but I’m afraid I will be surrounded by sophomores and freshmen and not students my age. What should I do?

well sophomores would be a year younger than you in general, would that really matter? I would def. try and be on campus, the dining is great but their meal plan systems are a *****. There are always tons of people around and I was able to make friends really easily when I visited for just three days (mainly b/c you would keep running into the same people). Some of the dorms like DeNeve are super nice (private bathroom for every room and free maid service) but others are really old and cramped.

I vote oncampus. Reasons would not benefit your well of knowledge in any way so I’ll keep them to myself

+1 oncampus

Try me. =)

Shoot me a PM?!
