ions and solubility rules
didnt remember them during summer and didnt rememeber them ever.
1 on ap test, rape hard
hahaha

Oakwood School. It’s a small private school in Los Angeles.

I guess it isn’t that impressive considering my class will be 12 people and it is the largest AP Chemistry class that there has ever been at my school… yet I’m still the only girl. It happens in my math class every year too.

So you only need 100/150 to get a 5, that’s just 66% :)

Does anyone know if the prep books have been updated without the guessing penalty. Especially Princeton Review 2011.

Never mind, Amazon let me look at the pages in the book. They still take off point for wrong answers. I guess that mean I’ll buy the 2010 edition.

i knew we had to memorize the ions but can somebody post a link or something with the solubility rules?

Aren’t a bunch of these ions obvious from their positioning on the periodic table?

Good luck everyone! I took the class last year and did well, so if anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me!

Guys which book do you recommend for AP Chemistry (Barrons or Princeton Review)?

My teacher isn’t doing anything, so I’ve begun my self study with the Central Science textbook starting around the tail end of stoichiometry. I’m more worried about Physics than Chem though.

I’m taking AP Chem this year. Do you guys know any good websites/prep books that has chapter by chapter AP problems? Most books/textbooks have same order of material. Our school APChem is hard.

Currently, oxidation states and redox reactions are kind of confusing me. Any help?

What part do you need help with?

I’m taking Honors Chem and we just finished ionic sizes. I’m thinking of self-studiyng AP Chemistry. Is that a good idea?

Do you guys know any good sites to practice multiple choice questions for Chem?

I don’t know if this has been mentioned before (if so, sorry):

The CollegeBoard posted the 1994/1999 AP Chemistry Exams on AP Central:

^
Nice!!!

Are there any sites that has multiple choice practice questions on specific topics? o:

Took my first test today on dimensional analysis and reaction formation. It was extremely difficult
I studied the entire (all nighter) night before too T_T
I feel like an ubar fail right now

My class started with a two day review of balancing Redox reactions and then jumped right into kinetics. We had our first test on Thursday and I studied for seven hours. Hopefully I did well. I have my kinetics lab due tomorrow and it is pretty terrible. There are way too many calculations. Plus we have to read 2 sections on equilibrium for tomorrow.

We just got started on gases. xD

We’re just finishing chapter 3, the Stochiometry chapter. Still on review Your guys’ classes move fast.
