Official 2011 AP Chemistry Thread

So it’s about two weeks earlier for about 10 dollars?
I mean, I"m out of the US so it would probably take even longer than 2 weeks.

@yumikimnguyen:
You make me nervous.
):

Well it’s only ten bucks, I think it’s worth it to not have to wait 2-3 more weeks. it’s just…what…2 lunchs? xD

gosh am I the only one who thought MC was hard? :(

Abrayo your not in the US? That means that all this time, we’ve been talking about different tests. International uses Form B…

@abrayo nervous about what? everyone on cc is making ME nervous. like i’m so sure i probably failed now, since cc-ers are saying the test was hard. :(

@bioboy12 wait, so there’s a chance that i had an easier test? (and therefore, harder curve of course) and not that i completely failed it? since i thought it was too easy…

Xing, rest assured I’m worried about it as well. Not impossible, but still pretty bad…

@Xing615:
I thought MC was slightly difficult.
But then again, in the practice tests I thought they were okay and I still got like 17 wrong . . .

@Bioboy:
. . . really?
I’m in Canada. Does that still apply then?

@yumikimnguyen:
Maybe you were the only one of us who got it!
. . . D:

I normally get 2 wrong on mc max and almost full on frq. today’s was hell. Yumi, you prob got a diff test, or your school is smart, unlike ours

@ivycraze no my school’s pretty average. i find some relief in the possibility of me having another test then. the frq’s were probably the same though, since the ones you listed i remember. oh well. i really need to go study calc… no use in speculating when we get the frq’s in … 3 days right? or two?

i just noticed he said 2 wrong.
ivy craze. relax. you’ll get into an ivy -.- jk but agreed with bioboy’s comment below V

Ivycraze, 2 wrong on MC? Full on FRQ??? Lemme ask you a question.

Are you god? =.=

@Ivycraze Wow. You must be incredibly smart. I typically think Princeton Review practice tests are harder than this one. On the other hand, this particular AP exam had a lot of material on subjects I actually knew.

So thanks to you guys, I am feeling more bad now.

yeah Im really worried about my MC, had no time to check. Also number 6 on the free response… =_____________= yeah I completely blanked and failed= =

Before the Exam, I thought I was going to get a 4
Finishing multiple choice, which I thought wasn’t too bad, I thought that was accurate and that even a 5 was in reach
In the middle of my FRQ I cried, and now I think I’m going to get a 3 -_-

Why is CB so mean this year?

I had a lot of time to check my MC, but I spent a loooot of time on one of the questions. . . until I realized I misunderstood it and then got it in a few seconds. Waste of time.

I wish we could discuss it within 24 hours . . . too bad. D:

@Austin:
hopefully they curve so everyone gets higher than expected!

No way the Princeton review tests are harder than the actual one. I took the first Princeton review one and got like 64 mc correct and a 15 on question 4. etc etc

Same here @JohnnyHoppy.

THAT WAS HELL. MC started out awful, got a little better, got hard again, and near the end ran out of time, started bubbling in random guesses, DIDN’T EVEN READ THE LAST FEW QUESTIONS, and more random bubbling, yay! Some of the MC were really obvious ones, but I have a feeling that I completely goofed up on them.

FR… Heh, don’t even get me started.

edit;; but everyone in my class said they failed :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: and I had the highest grade as well so i’m just guessing we had a stupid class and an easy teacher.

Most of my part B explanation was 1-3 sentences long, would that affect my score? Gosh I wish I wrote more = =

Let me join in on this pity party going on (or is it AP Hangover?):

I usually finish the MC at home with about 20 minutes or so to spare. However, I RAN OUT OF TIME COMPLETELY. Some parts were so freaking hard while others I just could not remember from previous exams that I had taken (there was one question that I could have gotten very easily had I remembered the answer to it!).

The second half of the FR was not terribly difficult and I had 10 minutes to spare, but I used it all up on the first half of the FR, which I still did not finish. Sigh. Why the heck do they take 2.5 months to grade?

i actually second shirafune. i thought the pr practice tests were harder than today’s too… and pr’s known for being easy. strange.
wait quick question, are frq’s returned in two or is it three days?

I think they return it in 2 days…
