Official 2011 AP Results Thread

^Many people who called in on 7/1 last year got alternate exam scores along with their regular scores.

Does anyone know why it takes so long for the tests to be graded?

My AP World History teacher is a grader, and she always have to leave school early at the very beginning of June to go grade. I think they do about a week per AP test of grading, probably spread out over 2 weeks, and at various locations (say, AP WH is graded in Colorado while AP English Lang is graded in FL or the like). The they have to get all the scores together and get everything else together by July 1, but usually by June 27-29.

Pff, yeah right. As if you care about 4-5 threads floating around. You posted this so your name would be on the official thread!

Most schools don’t get out until early to mid June, they need teachers to grade and so they can’t grade until school’s over for the year.

My school gets out early June and those teachers that grade just leave a week early. Plus, they’ve been releasing score distributions for over a week now, so they must have been done scoring some exams since then.

I’m calling on July 1! Anyone know what time I can start calling on that day?

Legit just had a nightmare about my scores. I dreamt I got a 2 on all of my exams D:

@Jalmoreno

They say they still need late-exams in, and there are quite a few of those.

All the exams have been graded.

From [Twitter](http://twitter.com/#!/AP_Trevor): Staff will work 7 days/week between now and July 5 to upload all scores into the system and ensure the reports run correctly.

No scores yet? Anyone?

I tried 10 minutes ago, and none yet :frowning:

My predictions:

Today – 0%
28th – 50%
29th – 20%
30th – 0%
July 1st – 30%

^
Why did you rule out the 30th?

Took APUSH, English Lang, and Calc AB…expecting a crosses fingers 4 on APUSH, possibly 3 on English, and…sigh…1 or 2 on Calc. I forgot everything on exam day.

From Twitter: AP Grades by Phone will be up and running no later than July 1 . . . and possibly a day or two sooner. I’ll tweet the minute it goes live.

If I don’t get a 5 on my Biology AP exam, I will beat myself and forget about majoring in Biology. If I don’t get a 5 on my Calculus AB exam, there will be something extremely wrong. As for my English Language & Composition exam, I can only hope for a 3.

I heard that CA scores come out on July 14 this year (meaning I can get my scores, laugh/cry, and then celebrate/comfort myself with Harry Potter). Would scores really come out earlier?
