Official 2011 AP Results Thread

Here’s the Wait for AP Scores Thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/ap-tests-preparation/1164195-official-2011-wait-ap-scores-thread.html</a></p>

Ideally, this thread would be devoid of posts (other than this one) until scores come out, but feel free to post predictions, ask questions, etc. When scores come, post here!

If I don’t get a 5 on APUSH, bad things will start to occur.

If I don’t get at least a 3 on Chemistry, do I have to take it again in college? I want to be a Spanish teacher, but I know some colleges usually have general requirements. I would rather take biology in college if I must take a science course in college, because it seems easier since it’s more memorizing, which I’m good at. Also, do colleges look down on low scores? If I have AP Chemistry on my transcript (with a C,) wouldn’t they prefer to at least see my score? I don’t see the point of cancelling an AP score.

Some colleges accept 3, some 4 on Chem, it depends. If you’re not a science major, you’d most likely have a choice on taking chem or bio for your gen eds in science. Colleges typically don’t look too much at AP scores in admissions. You don’t even have to send your scores with your application if you don’t want to.

I think I got a 1 in English Lit…

hoping for all 4s and 5s on Psych, Spanish Lang, Calc AB, English Lit, & Euro. Most likely to end up with a 3: Spanish. Most likely 5s, over the others: Calc & Psych. Euro & English thinking/hoping for 4s

I’m hoping for a 4-5 on US and Comparative Government and a 3 on APLAC but I’d be ok with a 3 on either of the Gov exams.

I reeeeaallly want a 5 in Music Theory. I’m seriously praying for one. I guess I’ll take a 4 though… even though I won’t like it a lot.
I’m predicting a 5 in Bio too… even though I had to take the make-up.
And seriously, if I don’t get a 5 in Euro, I might have to kill someone.

Really hoping for a 4 or MAYBE even a 5 for comparative government

Crossing fingers and hoping for 5’s on APUSH, BC Calc, Environ. Sci, and Micro. (self studied micro)

Pretty sure 5 on Stat and 4/5 on Euro.

Hoping for:
5 on English Lang
5 on U.S History
5 on Physics B
3 on Statistics (poorly self studied)

Expecting:
5 on English Lang
4 on U.S History
4 on Physics B
3 on Statistics

I NEED A 5–or 4, at least–on the APUSH exam.
I don’t really care about APES–i think i got a 1/2, hopefully a 3.
I want a 4/5 on the AP Eng Lang exam.

Hopefully my wishes come true and i get the scores i want! I’m so nervous…

If scores are out early, they could be released in 6 days!

For those waiting by mail, here is a compilation by state of when results first started to come last year. I’ll do one last compilation this year if everyone cares to report when they get theirs (remember to include the first three digits of your zip code.) If the date for your state isn’t listed, it is because nobody from that state reported on last year’s thread, but look for adjacent states to get an approximation.

Accidental duplicate post removed.

^Very good post. Thanks a lot man!

Ideally, this thread shouldnt be made until a day or 2 before July 1st.

Yeah, but it’s best to make one early so that there aren’t 4 or 5 results threads floating around. If this thread can get 4-5 pages of posts before scores come in, (hopefully) everyone will know that this is where to post results.

Does anyone know if scores from alternate testing dates come together with scores from regular?

I also took an exception test, proctor said results will come in August. Any chance they’ll come sooner?
