Should I just get an 800 on the Math 2 subject test so it doesn’t look like I’m incompetent at math? That 3 is just embarrassing.

I was too scared to call in so my friend is doing it for me. I should have my scores in a minute or so. Ahhhh, I just hope I didn’t screw up at the subjects I needed to do well on. Knock on wood…

2011:
Physics C - Mechanics (5)
Physics C - E&M (5)
Biology (5)
Environmental Science (self-study) (5)
English Language (5)
Calculus BC (5), AB Subscore (5)
US History (4)

Well, screw history for ruining my record. I mean, I was so busy I didn’t open the history textbook all of second semester, and my teacher didn’t ever do anything in class except talk about housing developments, so I guess a 4 is pretty good. Three hours out of a Kaplan book wasn’t enough :(

Actually, I’m quite pleased with my scores. I studied a solid 56476418764598 hours for the E&M test, so I’m glad that worked out. I’m going to be a math major in college so who cares about my history score, anyway?

Bio and APUSH 4, stats 5. APUSH and stats were as expected. Really happy with that bio score though, as I had incompetent teachers and basically had to self study the class the night before the test. When we got the free response booklets back, both teachers for the class said they didn’t know any of the answers. They weren’t even hard questions… All in all quite good scores for never having opened a textbook and only skimming the princeton review book in order to learn bio.

I like how everyone blames their teachers for bad scores…as long as you’re literate and can read a textbook, you should be able to master the material as well as anyone else.

I don’t entirely blame my spanish teacher for my bad AP spanish score, just partly, especially since he said we were going to do stuff and have us prepared for the test, and then he just totally slacked off.

If the above about teachers was in any way directed at me, I would like to point out that a 4 is not exactly a bad score and that within my post I did specify that I did almost no preparation on my own. I probably could have gotten a five if I had felt the need to do so.

ENVIRO: 5 WHOOOPEE! (i know this is considered fluff by colleges but it is my first 5!)
Calc AB: 4! woopee!
U.S. hist: 2 FAIL
Physics C Mech: 2 wahhh ain’t a 1 at least
Phyiscs C E&M: 1 CRUD! CRUD! CRUD!! I got every AP score from 1 to 5 now.
English Lang: 4 alright

Should I request a re-score on my AP Environmental exam? I got a 2. But I studied hard for that test and I thought I felt really good about the FRQ when we went over them in class. I expected at least a 4…

I was shocked when I heard them say a 2 on the phone.

2011:
AP Lit: 5
AP Gov: 5
APBIO: 4
AP Stats: 4
AP Spanish: 3

2010:
AP Lang: 5
APUSH: 5

2009:
AP Euro: 5
AP Psych: 5

Overall, I’m pleased. I’m psyched to get a 3 in Spanish, mostly because I was literally expecting a 1 or 2. For Stats, I’m pleased. It was my last of 5 AP’s as a senior, I was tired, and math is easily my worst subject.

I /am/ disappointed about Bio though, not because I’m unhappy with the score itself (I’m fine with my 4 for Stats & 3 for Spanish) but I really felt like I knew pretty much everything on the exam. That was the one test where I felt sure I’d guaranteed myself a 5, and I felt great about the score. Seriously thinking about requesting a rescore, here.
