-1 on math(it was a grid-in)
Since they’re only counting the first two math sections, what would my math score be?

@anBoa122 They wouldn’t
@anBoa122 @bringit1 i was thinking the same thing anboa…but i have to agree with bringit…colleges just cant dismiss that score. esp if they do score choice, its the only one they have to go on. plus, i dont think they would care that much to check the month of the sat u took it in…
is there any calculator like thecollegepanda that calculates PSAT scores? i think i have -3 or 4 in CR and -4 or 5 in M
im not even allowed to say the college panda?
ok
More CR questions from long ago…
Did you get anticipation and trepidation for the attitude to meet new family?
Dream of her fathers death was her greatest dread? I think answer mightve had grave in it.
For the history textbook one, was the interjection (forgot what it was) self-evident?
@SaburosFather i got all those answers that u got
@lolokcollege what did you get on your first sat? lol
@SaburosFather 2210 u?
1900 LOL
I’m glad that someone who scored high is getting the same answers as me haha. What score are you aiming for this time?
@SaburosFather 2320+
2050+. What do you know youve gotten wrong so far? @lolokcollege
@SaburosFather I definitely got one math wrong…but thats the only one so far i know is wrong. And another one…I may have gotten wrong because i don’t remember if I gridded in $2.50 but i remember getting a lot of gridded answers with '2’s
the rest of the questions i may have gotten wrong are the controversial ones…everytime i take a sat i list out the ones i may have gotten wrong and calculate from there…but its hard for this because theres not really a general consensus on which ones are right and CB removed 2 sections but in my doc i listed these out:
"CR
Personal Quirk vs Familial Trait?
Metaphor/Melodramatic vs Simile/Hyperbole?
Most likely correct:
More accurate vs more fascinating?
Incredulous vs falsely dramatic?
Self-evident?"
For all of the ones ive listed, i chose the LATTER answer…i can’t remember the Jane Austen questions…but i dont remember having much difficulty with them…do u remember them?
for W…i don’t think i’ve gotten any wrong…
@lolokcollege
I chose all the latter answers from your list too. I barely remember the Jane Austen and im pretty sure I got most of those wrong. I think there were only 4 in that passage though? i dont remember the question it was attached to but for one I said that the author belives fiction > biography.
Also I dont remember gridding in 2.50, i gridded in 1.25. maybe i forgot the last step?
@SaburosFather i feel like i may have gridded in 1.25 too…idk crap lol thats worrisome
do u remember that q?
Any suggestions for good state schools that have good CS programs? I know that CMU is good, but are there any others you guys would recommend?
@anBoa122
I’m looking to go into CS and/or Business - specifically hoping for UC Berkeley since it has top programs for both. My personal “safety” school is ASU, and I’m going to try applying to Stanford or CMU since they also have top CS programs. Just search something like “top computer science colleges” and it’ll come up with several lists of the “best” colleges and universities.
@anBoa122 if you want a state school/public school that is really really strong in cs check out Indiana university.
