Well, was really hoping my CR would go up.

That is now my third test not getting above 570 in CR. Realistically, how much room for improvement have you guys seen in CR? I know I have all summer to bring it up, and all I am looking for is a 630. However, with one test left before college apps In October, I have to decide to stick with the SAT and try to bring up reading and writing or try out the ACT. What do you guys think I should do and do you think it’s realistic I could get a 630 in CR with a summer of studying?

So many people got 730 for math. I did too. I know the exact two questions I got wrong. One of them was a stupid mistake. >.> I love my cr and w scores too much to retake though (that and I’m poor and lazy and need to make time for subject tests)

Jetslifeo08 - I raised my CR from a 520(I know it’s horrendous) to a 610. You really just have to practice and learn your mistakes. You can do it!

My 9 essay brought up my 69 MC to 710 what the heck…
in march the 9 essay brought 65 MC to 660

My 10 essay brought mine up from a 680 to 710.
I’m really tight at the college board honestly how can you not grade two entire sections and be like oh the scores are still valid and accurate. For math for example the section they invalidated I’m 99% sure I didn’t have any mistakes on and the one error that I had and I’m down to a 760. Even more with CR there are always passages that you individually find confusing and then others that you do better on, what if the one that you were confused on was counted and the one that would have balanced out your mistakes was invalidated? I really think they should offer another date in like September cause that way there would be more opportunity for scores before college apps are due cause either Oct or Nov I need to take subject tests, but CB def won’t give another date cause it’s too much $$. Pretty pissed at CB cause they messed up, don’t think they should have invalidated the entire exam but I really wish they could offer another test date.
I’m just realizing I didn’t get a 1420 CR+M. Welp there goes some honors college placements.

Should I retake it? I’m really pissed off about everything except reading. And by the way my score went up because I read all of the Harry Potter books, but I don’t see how I messed up the math and writing so much. On practice tests my lowest math was 800, and lowest writing was 770. Would it look better to be one and done with a 2230? Or should I take another shot because I know I can do better? Thanks.
