***Official 2015 June SAT (US Only) THREAD***

If math is now based on 38 questions and reading based on 48, anybody have an idea on how the curve will be affected?

@relaxer06 Everything from unaffected sections will be worth more, I guess.
The actual curve might increase due to this fact.

Was the x^t=32 and x^(x+y)/2=16 find x^y question in section 8/9???

@FtheCollegeBoard I think it was.

GUYS for the one with granular as the option for vocab what section was that? was it with the eastern island

@y0l0lsen
“Granular” was not Section 8/9

Sadly :frowning:

The curve better be generous since questions will weigh more. If I don’t get a 2100+ because of this I’m confident that I’m going to take it for the third time in October. This screws me up since I was going to take SAT 2s in October.

Was the x^t=32 and x^(x+y)/2=16 find x^y question in section 8/9???

i recall the last one is pyramid

I have a feeling CB will do something with the curve so misses in the unaffected sections are not harsher. A harsher curve because of them throwing out sections puts our scores at a huge disadvantage compared to other tests if the curve is harsh, which would definitely be unfair.

idk x^t=2^4 if i recall correctly ;(

There better be a HUGE curve. I have a funny feeling I will end up doing really well… Just kidding, just jinxed myself. But yeah, I am excited to see my score.

@FtheCollegeBoard No that wasn’t on section 8/9

@jason112 , yea not asking for the answer, but just want to know if that question was in that section. It was towards the end of one of the sections, but not the last question.

It’s the only math question I got wrong and now it will count horribly against me!

This isn’t fair. Honestly!

EDIT: They should just count that section. those 5 mintues seriously isn’t that much help anyway. It would make scores more reliable than cancelling both sections

@FtheCollegeBoard i got one math question wrong, and its not in 8/9 so that screw me too :frowning:

wait that means instead of -10 -20 for cr, it’s like -30… and math is like -50 also wtf. This also raises the curve cause a lot that people missed seemed to be later sections…

Jane austen wasn’t sec 8/9 right? I wish it were :S

This is unfair af

Anyone know if the eschew vocab question was 8/9?
