***Official 2015 June SAT (US Only) THREAD***

@dijsihi no baby carrots was part of non-experimental writing

I still haven’t utilized my four free score reports. Should I still do it?

Oh shoot, I want the section about the boy named sonny to count because I know I did well on that

@dijsihi
No

So does everyone get different passages if they got a critical reading as their experimental sections?

Has anyone decided if it was simile/hyperbole or metaphor/melodramatic yet

@dijsihi No

@kristenxxxx I mean, I personally decided that it was simile/hyperbole because that felt like the MORE right answer, even if both were right. Simile is more specific than metaphor and the piece wasn’t really emotional (which I associate with melodrama)… it was just super super exaggerated (hyperbolic).

@kristenxxxx Shouldn’t it be simile/hyperbole because the sentence used “like”

How many of y’all are taking the ACT?

@xxx12cc yeah me too lol i specifically remember that section being super easy i was pretty mad when i found out that section was my experimental

i guess i better start prepping for the act

So was the arc question in section 8 or 9?

@kristenxxxx I don’t think so

The answer was pi/2

This is honestly a ridiculous solution. It’s not going to be an accurate measure of how someone did on the test. Colleges should and will take note of this when using June 2015 SAT scores in their review process.

@xxx12cc okay thank you. I omitted that one. Do you know if the ax^2+bx^2+c one or pyramid one was on there?

Someone who might have gotten a high 700s in CR will now be getting a low 700.

Do they know on what date you took the test

@kristenxxxx The pyramid one was the last question on math sec 8/9
