***Official 2015 June SAT (US Only) THREAD***

Do you think CB will take back what they have said?? Will they make another update tomorrow?

Can someone confirm if there will be a retake on June 20th?

what passage on reading was expiremental?

@FtheCollegeBoard I doubt they will retract their most recent update. I could see another update with a potential retake option, but I still view that as unlikely.

@16elir math was 16 questions btw.

@dijsihi Yes.

^^

which reading section was experimental?

If we cancel our scores now, will we be able to participate in a potential retake?

@FtheCollegeBoard They implied so in their latest update.

Can someone give me more details about the Henry and the house one. I don’t recall reading about it.

well I’m happy because i thought section 8 and 9 were the hardest sections out of the whole test

@xxx12cc it was experimental not everyone gets it

Here are the CR passages:

  • - experimental / - nonexperimental

CR:
/ Jane Austen (Short)
/ Physiological + Cards (Long)
/ Adopted Girl (Long)
/ US History Textbooks (Long)
/ Easter Islands (Dual) - (NOW DELETED DUE TO SECTION 8/9 ISSUES)
Tomatoes (Short) (Experimental or Regular?)
/ Underrated Spanish Poet (Short)

  • French boy named Sonny who visits his American uncle (Long)
  • African Democracy/Apartheid (Dual)
  • Social Legacy of Weaving (Short)
  • Henry + Lamb House in Rye (Long)
  • Land + Sea Snakes w/ Graph (Long)
  • Functional MRIs (fMRIs) (Long)
  • Purple Loosestrife + Climate (Long)

Hold up was Jane Austen in 8/9

It was the one about Rye and some of the questions had following questions that asked you where you found support for your answer

@JARO10
No

I ADVISE NO ONE TO CANCEL THEIR SCORES. cancelling your scores based on the hunch or hope that they will provide a retake is NOT WISE. this recent CB decision could truly yield better scores for everyone. So just sit tight. If you plan to cancel, do it so on wednesday which gives you 2 days for CB to release any more info. If you still choose to without any update from them, expect to retake it in OCT.

If we cancel our scores now, will we be able to participate in a potential retake?

was the one about baby carrots experimental on the writing section

@bbbaaa784 @cityonanocean @16elir thanks for your replies guys!! :smiley: i’m most torn by the melodrama vs. hyperbloe question.

I wish I can see all the answers from Section 2-Section 7 and Section 10… I need to predict my score. D:
