***Official 2015 June SAT (US Only) THREAD***

was the cube with side length 20 have sphere radius of 10?

@chippotato yes it would be 10radical 2 if the cube was inscribed in the sphere

Does anyone remember the question about what the author thought about the family member’s faces?

I put indistinct, but I wasn’t sure.
I think it could have been ordinary.

also for the one where it was a % of b or whatever, was it II and III?

@u1timatum i put that as well

@chippotato i think so the answer had to have two things

its indistinct

@chippotato I put that.

@chippotato Yes. A was 2% of 2(ab) I believe. That was the only one that was incorrect.

@dijsihi wait it wasn’t 10 radical 2?? darn i felt pretty good about that one

WHAT DID YOU GUYS get for x^t=16 x^(t+y)/2=32 you have to find x^y

@kelika That would be measured from the corner, which is too long from the middle of an edge.

@kelika if it was 10radical 2 the area of the sphere would be 11k

16 @jason112

@jason112 x^(t+y)=1026. x^t times x^y = 1024. Substitute 16 in for x^t. 1024/16= 64; assuming you wrote the question correctly.

@jason112 Im 100% sure that the answer was 64.

@jason112
I think y was 2. Just put 2 for x… CUZ it can’t be 4. Since 2^4=16. 2^(4+2)=32.

@jasson112 i got 64

thanks i also got the last one …just no one responded to me

@dijsihi aw nuts
