Are you talking about Williams going need aware? That lowered my respect for them substantially.

Oh, and hi everyone. I’ll be joining in on getting the anticipation and tension up.

Oh, and hi everyone. I’ll be joining in on getting the anticipation and tension up.

^ Hi, iabin! :)

Williams went need-aware for international applicants. Understandable because of the recession but its kinda sneaky of them to announce it after all the internationals applied.

Exactly. But what did they gain? (besides the application fees)

^ They can reject more people and look more selective, IMO.

EXACTLY. Williams, that $60 application fee AND MY TIME could have gone to a school that I can actually get into with aid if you’d been a little more considerate.

Hmm, that would probably be it. Does anyone know when Williams decisions come out? I need it to the minute, thank you. I’m constructing a timetable so I can plan my panic attacks effectively.

And 'ello kiterunner :)

I forgot this was the Amherst thread. I like Amherst; they sent that nice email so I can add them into my timetable.

The subject line, however, is an entirely separate matter. “Amherst College Decision Information” nearly gave me a cardiac arrest. When I opened the email and didn’t see ‘Congratulations’, that was cardiac arrest #2.

iabin : we all had strokes/heart attacks. I hope the admissions officers know how we almost died. (melodramatic I know)

Heyyy fellow CCers.
Greetings from MM’s college writing class.
:)

Around 28 hours left till D-Day.

^ Hey, MM. I’m in AP Biology. :)

LOL!!!

How was your test?

P.S: How the hell are you posting? You’re sitting in front of a computer? (I am…supposed to be writing a senior thesis. Tehehe.)

MM. Apparently Vassar mailed their decisions today. You applied right?

I got my results… they were… better than I expected or deserved!
And it didn’t kill my grade, so it’s all good. I did, however, find out that the packet I worked so hxc on last night/this morning is due tomorrow. -_- Weak.

And it is the magic of laptops!
Woot! What’s your senior thesis on?

Hi guys!

I’m shivering. Lol.

@QP - why?!

Gappy - mailed it out as in we’ll get it around Sunday? (I realize you live in another country…lol. Right now, it’s 1:48 and a Thursday) Thanks for telling me. Lol. I asked my brother yesterday if he remembered when decisions were mailed out…he’s like “Ohhh, I dunno!”

-_-

Kite;

Haha. Well, at least it didn’t kill your grade! I have a bio test tomorrow. We played jeoprady to review. We killed it, obviously. WE WON RUBBER DUCKIES! …that glow in the dark. (My friend just turned over and laughed because of the fact that I’m actually posting about my life on a forum. -_-) –> I just showed her my post, and she laughed even more.

Senior thesis = underage drinking, with a concentration on its role on college campuses. It’s an easy topic.

MM,
Dang! Your AP Bio class sounds fun. My teacher is nice, but it’s mostly busy work -_- So frustrating. Your friend must be jealous because she doesn’t spend countless hours on CC
That’s a solid topic; you shouldn’t have a problem with it. I just wrote a paper on socioeconomic status and standardized testing. Needless to say, I’m moderately biased. :)

Yeah your thesis sounds fun.

Wait, your brother? Is he at Vassar?

EDIT: Apparently int’ls get emailed.

Interesting topic.

I LOVE AP BIO.

EDIT: No, he’s not. He got accepted but it was mucho dinero.

EDIT 2: I’m going to class (AP Euro…=/)

TTYL.

I’m getting home late. Don’t expect responses until la noche.
