**OFFICIAL** AP Chemistry 2014 Thread

i just wrote my ap test number on the paper and stapled it in… id better get counted for that because it was the really easy deltaH question…

also why is there a debate about the molecular shape question? it’s common ap knowledge that t-shaped molecules are polar

wow, i have read so much stuff about Form O but almost nothing about Form D which is the one I had. Are the curves completely different for each form seeing that one was evidently harder than the other.

does anyone remember the Ka for the third free response

What was the question exactly

Ka was something x 10^-5 since the pKa was like 4.8

Well when the AP Bio exam was re-vamped, the curve became bell-shaped which should have never happened. The percentage was around 78% for a 5. Collegeboard usually gets the average score and then decides the 5s, 4s, 3s etc percentage from there. Might as well be an optimist about it and hope that Collegeboard learns from its mistake…

What do you guys think like 70% on open response and 60% on MC might be? Solid 4 chance for a 5?

^ or that’s at least what I got.

Did anyone else find the free response section to be easy?

Or easier than the mc?

I did but that was because I was half asleep during the mc

Uhm no… What planet are you from

I don’t know! I thought the mc was so hard…nothing like I have practiced. But the FRQ just made sense I mean they were based on basic concepts (IMF, stoich, etc)

Maybe the rate one was tricky as to why it was first order…

what was the answer to the last MC question, the one about the calorimeter… I thought I had it but I’m scared I put down the wrong letter…

The thing that killed me was the time constraints on the frq…7 minutes for each short frq seemed too strict. Also question 1 had 8 parts like wtfff. this was the one time that i actually didnt have enough time to finish ugh

I don’t think I had one with a calorimeter…I had Form O

^same as @collegeapp2018‌ . if there was more time, i definitely could’ve finished the FRQs and gotten a good score
