It says “approximate value” for the bond angle so 109.5 should be fine, right?
I feel like less than 109.5 would have been better but to be honest I’m not the one with the answers so I wouldn’t know… wait until the scoring guidelines come out and you’ll see
or check out adrian dingle’s blog. he’s a great ap chem teacher and gave his take on the FRQ’s. You might find it helpful.
What email should we contact?
@Dorfdude8 I contacted apstudents@info.collegeboard.org
@Messi4lyfe contacted them about what?
Could someone tell me if they will automatically deduct a point for incorrect rounding (i.e. 4.33 moles vs 4.34 which is correct)? It would greatly calm me.
@zach1198 I contacted them about 2e and 2f.
@pillowspillows I have that same question. I think that is fine, but im not sure
@cocolover123 and @michelle426
I put the state of Ca(OH)2 as aqueous instead of solid. Will I get marked down for that?
Also, SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME ANSWER THIS:
Does it matter whether you put equilibrium arrows or not on 6b?
And 4a (dissociation of Ca(OH)2) did not have equilibrium arrows right?
Do you know if the misprint was on 3f as well as the 2 questions?
@Ninjadu both are fine and will be accepted. Looking at past answers from CB they dont specify the states in equations and I’m pretty sure that Ca(OH)2 wasnt suppsoed to have double arrows since its a strong base (usually dissociation equations have a one way arrow anyways)
@pillowspillows Thanks, that makes me feel better :D!
Also, for the equilibrium arrows, I meant for the dissociation of NaF (F- + H2O -> HF + OH-). I don’t remember whether I put single or double arrows :’(.
@pillowspillows but what you don’t realize is that they gave you A KSP VALUE FOR THE COMPOUND. That means that it is relatively insoluble in water at a certain temperature, and you can have double arrows if needed.
@Ninjadu It doesn’t matter whether or not you put double arrows for that one. Just have the correct net ionic stuff.
@michelle426 Alright, cool! Thanks so much for the reply.
Crossing my fingers for a 5 haha but I’m counting on MC to carry my grade
Same here lol
hopefully the weird mc questions were experimental
What do you guys mean by “experimental questions”?
And which ones would you predict were “experimental”?
I mean the 10 questions that dont count towards the score. I thought the one with the three points and x and y was experimental
I know a lot of people didn’t have the 2e and 2f question. After looking at the released questions, I realized I never answered 3f!! Maybe my mistake, but did anyone else have this issue
