Actually, last year they were available on the phone a few days early… maybe five days or so… I was just calling to see, not really expecting anything, and it said they were available… pretty exciting stuff

Shreveport87, do you know what you have jus done!?! Now there are going to be tons of students calling WAY before the date. You have now made some people even more paranoid than they already were lol.

I’m not calling. By this point I will probably have forgotten about it a little bit and will have other priorities.

If they come out on the 28th again, its only 2 days after getting back SAT scores, assuming theyre not delayed. I’m not sure if that is good or bad.

a machine says it… ive never called but my friend told me about it. It’s like “A P U S History…You got a FIVE”.

it will say the exam name and then after a very brief pause say your grade.

two- three weeks in july? who is grading this- one armed people on mars?

You gotta take into account that Collegeboard handles a ton of other administrative stuff (such as paranoid SAT students calling in asking for their grade when it’s obvious that they could just see them online after a certain date) and thus it takes them ages to mark any exam.

Getting back to the topic, I will call in to ask for my scores though. Last year I got my score report three weeks into August (international mail probably was delayed) and this year since I took 6 exams, I’m definately not waiting that long.

Think about it, 2 million AP tests are taken each year with each having at least 3 essays/free response, some having more. Two months and two million tests graded is pretty good. The SAT has 2 million takers each year spread apart 7 test dates and it still takes a month to recieve your scores. Plus the SAT only has 1 essay, so really the SAT graders are slacking.

yeah i’m calling, but it’s so abrupt! oh well…

They have a whole different staff that picks up phones for scores…

It doesn’t take a month to get SAT scores… I mean May did (and I still don’t have them) but they were delayed.

Can one check AP scores on online? If so, when will AP scores be available online? Would it be available on the collegeboard website or some other website?

No. Pay to get them on July 1, or wait a few more weeks and get them in the mail. Only options.

Bump!!!(10 char)

I’m definitely calling…why wait another MONTH for scores when they are available? $8.00 is not bad…my school pays for the AP tests, so what’s $8.00 to hear my score?

Last year I was in Europe and my phone card wouldn’t work with toll-free numbers, so my mom made the call and I didn’t get to hear it
but it’s a computer

I really am just curious but my parents won’t pay!

Oh I’m definitely calling…not knowing things KILLS me.

If you call and your scores are not ready, do you still have to pay the $8 fee?

yes, you’ll still have to pay. It’s really better just to wait two weeks. You’ll find out your scores eventually. Or, if your’e going to college next year, they might show your scores on their proprietary site.
