@KUNRD07 - Haha, I’ll bite; I think I speak for many when I ask, what have you heard from them?

A few people in the Immuno track have mentioned receiving acceptances, do you know if the neuro track has sent them out yet? I suppose I’m curious about when they will be done with the selection process. Also, whats your source of info?

Does Rockefeller wait-list? From what I’ve heard, most people heard back around Jan. 6-7th. If we haven’t heard back yet, should we assume we weren’t accepted? For a school that skips interviews and just accepts, I don’t really understand the point of a wait-list…it probably won’t be until April when people turn down the offer and spots open for those waiting.

sptaylor, on this forum shnjb and I were both waiting to hear from Rockefeller and had gotten the same response (i.e. wait until mid February) as of 2 days ago… so maybe we still have hope… :(

Congrats everyone who just got invited to all these programs!

Hey all, I’m still waiting on Rockefeller as well. I had trouble with a letter writer but that has been resolved a bit ago and I have the email confirmation saying that my application is complete, so I’m just waiting. There’s no interview there for what I know, so I’m not as concerned because I won’t have to schedule an interview there. Of course, being in New Jersey, traveling to NYC is easy, but still.

Are some of you receiving notification via snail mail? I’m looking for all via email, but maybe I should ask my mom to keep on the lookout for some mail of mine that arrives at home, as well as me keep up on my campus mail.

I got an acceptance from the University of Oregon Chemistry Department! I guess that they don’t have an interview weekend but they have a “campus visit” for the first weekend in March. It will be nice to go for a visit with out the stress of the interviews.

Has anyone heard from Harvard MCB yet? Their interview weekend is coming in 3-4 weeks, but I haven’t heard of anyone getting an interview offer. Has anyone contacted their office?

“I don’t mind! I can’t give you an exact date. However, applications are being reviewed now and you can plan on hearing back anytime from now through April. Most likely you will hear back before April, but I can’t guarantee it. Thanks!”

So seems like at least in this department they are working on a rolling basis. Maybe it is the case for all of northwestern.

I emailed Harvard MCB yesterday. They say the committee has just met to make the final decision. They say one is likely rejected if not receiving interview invitation by the end of Jan. 22.

Still waiting for the last day…Good luck to your friend.

Anyone know if UPenn BGS is done sending out interview invitation?
