<p>when I thought it was all done and over…just received a call for an interview at Northwestern IBIS!</p>
<p>here’s a summary:</p>
<p>waiting to hear from: Harvard BBS, MIT Biology, Rockefeller (but most likely rejection from all these)
interviews: University of Chicago Mol. Biosciences, UCSF Tetrad, Weill Cornell BCMB, Northwestern IBIS
rejected: UW Seattle (my undergrad school), UC Berkeley MCB</p>
<p>I’m very happy with my interviews and I knew that Harvard/MIT/Rockefeller/Berkeley were long shots going into the application process so the disappointment was short lived.</p>
<p>Hey skale_far, I haven’t heard from UCSF PSPG…my application says Under Review still. </p>
<p>I got a rejection letter from Stanford Biosciences today. I’m not disappointed though, and glad to hear back. Now just waiting for my 5 other schools!</p>
<p>sptaylor… lol, I just got my rejection from Stanford Biosciences as well. I’ve applied to a number of schools originally because my girlfriend applied to law schools, and now I know she’s almost certainly going to Boalt (berkeley law), my choices have narrowed down to berkeley and UCSF (I’ve declined most my east-coast interviews: johns hopkins, Upenn, NYU,etc.). I’m interviewing tomorrow at Berkeley for Molecular Toxicology… but am also awaiting UCSF PSPG.</p>

<p>I heard from people in the department that they have made all their decisions … this doesn’t mean that they might be done calling/emailing people, but since no one has heard in a while, then I assume it’s all done. </p>

<p>Hi… What’s happening to all the Immunology invites? More specifically from Stanford~ They aren’t replying to emails and I dont live in the states to call them up every now and then…Stanford’s really my top… and in my cases the only choice I could have :(</p>

<p>Oh… I live abroad+international student… so the rejection is going to take a while to get here by postal service?!! Why, oh why, do they still use that?</p>

<p>Thanks. I am fairly certain that as people decide to go or not to accept positions, that new positions will open up and you can still be admitted. May I ask why Harvard Biophysics was your number 1 choice?</p>

<p>glad to hear that Harvard biophysics finally starts moving…, but I am still waiting on their verdict.</p>
<p>I think it’s mind-boggling and inexcusable that schools use postal service for anything except maybe like an acceptance “package.”</p>
<p>It’s slow, wasteful and easily lost.
What the hell are these “science” programs thinking???</p>
