419Marye Thanks for your reply.

Its nice to hear OSU tries to make a huge school feel smaller. That is a big concern for H and I. S was accepted at a number of other large state schools, one big concern (at one of them specifically) was the way they seemed to push our questions from one department or area to another, very compartmentalized, not personal at all–really felt like a number, bad vibe. I know it doesn’t have to be that way, as we have had positive experiences with two other large schools too. OSU has been very responsive to us so far, but nice to hear that is the case once you are in the door there as well. :)

justinliu–congrats on your D’s acceptance into Fisher too!! :)

So, I just checked online in the application status and it appeared: Acceptance.
However, I got no letter or email notification soon. I understand the letter might take a while but, shouldn’t they send an email with more info?

djdash S didn’t receive an email until awhile after the acceptance appeared on the website. A letter will arrive in the mail first, most likely, within a few days. CONGRATS!!

Thanks for the info! As an international student, it is a relieve to know!

When I applied as a transfer I had a 3.5-13 college credits-23 ACT-2.8 high school GPA

They said they wanted to see how I would perform the second half of the school year before they made a final decision.

I finished with a 3.8-30 credits and retook the ACT and raised my composite to a 30. Im not sure if it was a factor or not because I was admitted 2 days after they received the new score idk if they had time to review it.
